Tucked away in Adelaide, this hotel pub is an absolute gem that stands out for its cool atmosphere and impressive beer selection. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a warm, inviting ambiance that strikes the perfect balance between modern chic and classic pub charm. The decor is tastefully done, with cozy corners and stylish seating areas that make it easy to relax and unwind. Whether you're there for a casual drink or a night out with friends, the vibe is always spot on. The lighting is just right—not too dim, not too bright—and there's a laid-back buzz in the air that makes you want to stay for hours. What really sets this place apart, though, is the beer. The selection is fantastic, featuring a mix of local craft brews and well-known favorites. Whether you're a fan of crisp lagers, hoppy IPAs, or rich stouts, there's something on tap to suit your taste. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about their beers, always ready to recommend something new or pour you a perfectly chilled pint. Overall, this hotel pub is a must-visit if you're in Adelaide. It's got the perfect combination of atmosphere, service, and top-notch drinks that makes for an unforgettable experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and check it out. You won't be disappointed!

Great pub. Honest, unpretentious great wine list but I tested with the house wines and they were real value. Had the beef schnitzel. Great flavour perfect cooked. I do question whether it was a schnitzel though, no sign of pounding superthin, a great piece of meat crumbed. Will post a photo. Probably twice as thick as usual. Really nice helpful people working here. Really feels like a university pib in a great way. Next visit to Adelaide will return. Only one dinner that they don't publish menu on website. All I can say is take a leap of faith, it will be good.

It's 11.11 on the 25.11.2023 and I am here for a workmate who used to come here heaps back in the 90s when grunge was grunge. There's not many people here however that's to be expected. Lotta rooms and snugs. Has a good, honest smell that a pub should. There's fireplaces, unsure if they're now only ornamental (they have wood in them, I like to think so). Bar man is ace. Deepest, calmest voice on a human being I have ever heard, reminds me of that singer, Avi Kaplan. This is a real city pub and I like it.

look. I’m so in favour of this place already. best pub in Adelaide CBD. old school. honest. not trying to be anything but a great pub. serving ice cold beers. indoor and outdoor seating. and that classic courtyard that we know we all love. had the beef schnitzel with mushroom sauce. not GF. but I’ll sweat the outcomes tomorrow. (worth it!!). have to go here every time I’m in Adelaide. don’t ever change Exeter Hotel. please don’t.

Great spot for a pint! 🍻 The Exitor Hotel pub offers a cool, covered outdoor setting just behind the bar area. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the Cooper's beers on tap are always cold and fresh. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a lively atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon.
