KFC GLENELG hands down the worst service in Adelaide, infact there is no service. Thought we would give it a go again (fourth time) all 4 times we walk in stand at the counter and wait and wait while 3 workers eat chips straight out from where the customers chips are scooped up from.
I timed the wait till nearly 4 minutes and not once did the 3 workers acknowledge that we were there nor even a simple "hi" and the exact same thing had happened 3 out of our 4 visits and all times we were the only people in the store. If KFC management were to look back on their camera 25/02/2023 around 10pm they would see not only how poor the service/no service was but how rude it is to have your back turned for such a long period of time whilst unhygienically feeding out of the warmer.
Obviously once I had enough of what I was experiencing I tried to tell them how wrong the situation was but it's possible 2 of the workers were to young to understand and the manager had absolutely no idea how to deal with the issue which was simple, just serve me and have your chat and chips once you sort out the people who are paying (customers)
The tiled floors look and feel like they have been moped with mop they cleaned the deep fryer up with
Outdoor seating had a layer of dust and the cushioned seating had brown dead lettuce everywhere and the bin spilling out that bad with rubbish you could throw your wrappers on the floor and not tell the difference.
On a funny note, if you go to this KFC you will see there is a door bell at the entrance. I suggest you press the door bell several times to and you will get someone's attention BUT it took me 3 presses just to have a worker peek through a small gapwhile he waves his hands in the air.
I would be taking a guess but it would not surprise me if that store was running at a loss or it would have less profit then any other store in Australia
Also I gauretee alot of people have experienced the same nothing.
KFC management(not instore manager) you need to sort this store out even re train whoever is running the place. That's if any KFC leader will even be bothered reading my review
I am more then disgusted especially the fact it happens everytime. I certainly will never step foot in that store again and neither...
Read moreSo this evening (645pm, the 22nd of June 2024) I walked into KFC Glenelg (as my son wanted a large $2 chips) On my approaching the counter a young female KFC employee yelled in a tone of annoyance at the customer in front of me at the counter, 'We're too busy. There'll be at least a 1O minute wait to be served.' She basically told him to 'F@#K off,' and that was certainly her tone. This KFC franchise has been a disgrace for years. It's an embarrassment to the KFC brand. I've never found the staff here anything other than hostile and grubby, as if they're being made to work at KFC against their will. Check the CCTV if you doubts regarding what I've written here. If it wasn't for my kids occasionally wanting KFC I certainly would never purchase food from here.
(KFC Squad, what more details do you want me to share??? I've provided you with the exact date and approximate time that an KFC Glenelg employee screamed at one your customers that he wasn't going to be served for at least ten minutes. But I will concede that I've only noticed this appalling sort of employee behaviour inside KFC Glenelg. I've never had an issue with service or poor attitude using the drive-thru. Trouble with KFC Glenelg is they're carrying too many lazy Australian teenagers and the franchise's owner would rather deal with their problems by deflecting with cleverly written PR spin rather than actually doing something...
Read moreDear KFC Customer Care Team,
I am writing to express my concern regarding a recent experience at your Glenelg outlet. As a vegetarian, I had specifically ordered fries, expecting them to be prepared separately from non-vegetarian items. However, I was disappointed to find chicken popcorn pieces mixed in with my fries. Additionally, I learned that your fries and chicken items are fried in the same fryer.
I am aware that KFC is primarily known for its chicken, and I respect that. However, many vegetarians, including myself, order fries and similar items under the assumption that they are vegetarian-friendly. I feel it is important for KFC to clearly communicate and label which menu items are prepared in shared equipment with meat products.
Respecting cultural and dietary preferences is crucial, especially in a diverse society. Clear and transparent information helps your customers make informed choices and builds trust with your brand.
I hope you will consider updating your menu labeling and staff communication practices to better respect and accommodate vegetarian customers.
Thank you for...
