I came here for my birthday. We had a fair few mistakes and mix ups with our cocktails. We kept getting cocktails that we didn’t order and I guess there was a bit of a mixup with the seating?? That’s not really anyones fault though, it’s fine! I ordered one Harley Quinn Cocktail and then another came back out about 15 mins later, and I told the bartender “Oh I’ve already had my Harley Quinn” to which he responded “no you haven’t” with a shrug and proceeded to say it was on the house as a “birthday drink”. Then when it came around to when we got the bill, the dark haired waitress told me that one of us had to pay for it and she was really stern and a bit rude… she was looking at me and my 2 friends sort of arguing over the bill, which was a bit unprofessional. I tried to explain politely that I was under the assumption it was a free drink as that’s what the bartender implied, and I explained that I literally tried to send it back as they handed it to me as I had already had the one that I ordered and they pretty much refused me sending it back.
Despite this, we did have a lovely time and the vibes were great. The staff were quite lovely and had a bit of conversation with our group! You can tell they are passionate about their work. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re into marvel & dc etc. it’s quite a cute place to go. Just make sure you’re getting the right cocktails to your table to avoid the bill being higher than you...
Read morePros- Food, drinks, atmosphere was amazing. (Short ribs was YUM!) Cons- To summarise a small part of our experience with the manager, when we were ordering we were told about a minimum spend per person which isn't not anywhere on their website, menu or social media. We were "reminded" multiple times during the night but wasn't told what that minimum amount is. As a date night, we ordered 2 mains, 2 drinks and a entree on the night. When we paid, we were told we didn't meet the minimum spend per person which she now tells us is $80 person. She explained its to keep the business going (which I totally get and support), she continues to point out 2 patrons at the bar tells us how much they have spent individually and she said ppl like that keeps businesses like them going. To her credit, she seems to be busy running around working very hard that night . As a feedback, please be clear what your minimum spend is BEFORE customers book. To guilt trip us throughout the night was unnecessary. More than happy to discuss with the owners about this incident, I do hope your business thrives as your food and drinks are great. But the way we were treated from the second we entered the bar telling her about our booking,...
Read moreI had the worst experience on my birthday 07/07. I went on the website to look more about the bar, and I was able to book online. I made the reservation and received an email, none of the emails, text messages or even on the website did not inform about book fee. From the first moment I arrived and so did my friends, the waitress kept saying that people had to drink, otherwise they would charge a book fee. Everyone who was there had a beer or cocktail each but the waitress was always stupid saying no and that she would charge a fee. From my first email I asked about taking a small cake and nobody answered me, I took a cake, they politely kept the cake and when I asked for the cake the same waitress said that I would be charged a fee per person because of the cake. I was not informed beforehand of any fees, they told me everything the moment I was there and if I had known I would not have chosen that bar. In the end there was an absurd bill for me to pay and we still had to listen to the waitress bothering us the whole time.
I have all screenshots, I had never received any informations about fee or each person would have to drink even though each one had...
