Lefty's Music Hall — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Went to Lefty's Music Hall first time on Friday night. The decor is fabulous. It helps bring the vibe up to party mode when the live music is pumping. Between sets the music played was classic R&B and Rock, so I was in my element. I love the good times upbeat music from the seventies, and there was enough of that to get me grooving into the night. We tried the chicken fillets and the seasoned fries. They went down a treat as well. There was a nice fresh apple juice mix with Jack Daniels on this particular night as a special. I really liked that combination. All in all the venue really deserves four and a half stars but there's no option for that, so I am going to stay with four. The venue is pretty small and gets packed too easily. They make it seem larger than it is with a mirrored wall but it doesn't fix the problem of being long and narrow. They've done well with what they've got. OT should be double the size at least. Just...

Just had my birthday function at Lefty’s! I booked the lower mezzanine area, and was a bit worried as I’d never been before and didn’t know what to expect. But it was such an amazing night and an amazing area! Right behind the live band (who were so fantastic!), the food was great — I’d bought 4 platters for around 20-25 people and it easily could have fed more, they did not skimp out — the cocktails were great, the staff were great, and the price was more than reasonable! Everyone had such a nice night (even with having to wear masks!) and I’m so grateful for Lefty’s making my birthday so memorable!

Went for my first time tonight, I hadn’t had any drinks inside yet and was just enjoying the music when some little man syndrome staff singled me out bailed me up. He said I was over intoxicated even tho all I was doing was banging my head to the music. Even worse he admitted I was less drunk then most of the people there, but still singled me out regardless. Would’ve probably just went on with the night if he wasn’t so disrespectful aswell, naturally this made me pretty upset.
