Woolloongabba delivered wrong food. Pizza Hut online has quiet simply avoided providing a refund or to attempt to contact me back and I feel like they have not attempted to follow Australian Consumer Law guidelines and recommendation in regards to consumer rights. On a recent occasion, they delivered the wrong food. I would like a refund, but they will not engage or respond.
I'd ordered and paid online. The Pizza Hut website chose to give the order to a third party associate franchise/provider (in this case - Wooloongabba Pizza Hut). I've asked for a refund using the online methods they provide and recommend for customers to contact them about issues, and because the website is where my point of contact for ordering from the online menu and position of sale occurred, I feel the online website is failing too. But Pizza Hut online just chose to ignore the request. Possibly Pizza Hut Online gave the wrong instructions to the food provider. Pizza Hut and Pizza Hut, should both work together like one big PIZZA HUT (similar to how their advertising and marketing publications strongly suggest they do)... that's my advice and suggestion for an improvement that could help avoid consumer law failures and unhappy unsatisfied customers and bad online reviews.
So if Pizza Hut Woolloongabba work with Pizza Hut Online and they all together screw your order up and fail to communicate between themselves (as a unified franchise under one advertising and marketing image) they still make bank and keep your money and so does their associate franchise director (Pizza Hut Australia) you lose your money, and if you can't or won't eat the food you didn't purchase, well you go hungry.
I spend hundreds on pizza every month (often thousands of dollars), I ordered from them a lot, for many personal/work and social occasions. I have no qualms, okay, for a little error here and there (within reason and for what I consider acceptable and close enough) on the odd occasions. However the order that was screwed up so royally was disgusting and absolutely unacceptable and looked deplorable and neglected during the delivery stage.
The pizzas all had the wrong ingredients of toppings. The pizzas all were squashed severely, and the cheeses and sauces were spread over and stuck and absorbed into the cardboard pizza boxes. Some sides were missing. The garlic breads were squashed really flat. Received sides that were not purchased and were not suitable or acceptable food dietary category types.
So ordering from Pizza Hut Woolloongabba - via online - is a gamble, so just be aware of the risk.
As a result of the above issues and Pizza Hut's decision not to contact me about my complaint and request for refund, and that is even after they confirmed they would contact me in regards, I've stopped being a customer due to The Pizza Hut failure to honour Australian Consumer Laws and failure to meet my expectations of goods and services that I purchased from them.
I feel like they stole my money and gave me trash. Not what I expect to get when buying food. Not the customer service response I expect from the multi million/billion dollar organisation that could and absolutely should do a lot better.
It's not hard to turn an upset customer into a happy one.
An upset customer, and your failure to provide a purchased goods or service should be viewed as opportunity for success... basic customer service and basic business 101, get some skills, fools.
Misleading advertising, bad customer service, I'm not satisfied, I am disappointed.
(26/dec/22: I can see Pizza Hut Wooloongabba has replied below. But it's too late, I'm no longer a customer, I have decided to buy from independent owned local pizza shops that provide quick and prompt services in regards to complaints, and that actually appreciate the need to and do provide high quality service and food as to survive in the market place. PizzaHut just doesn't need to provide high standards, good service and product quality control to survive and do business, and so they...
Read moreRead moreTerrible customer service and experience!!! Our pizza delivery never showed up last night and with no proper communication! I ordered through the Pizza Hut website last night around 6.45pm from the Woolloongabba Pizza Hut store and got a confirmation email saying my order would be delivered at 7.33pm. We waited and waited and then got a call from the driver at 8.13pm saying he couldnt find our house and if I could come outside so he could try and find me. We went outside and he couldnt see us, and I confirmed my address with him and gave him landmarks to go off as well. He called back five minutes later to say to go back inside and that he would be 5 more minutes. I called the Woolloongabba store at 8.30pm saying our pizza was an hour late and the employee said the driver had left and should be there soon. We called the driver again and the store multiple times around 9pm and noone picked up. At 9.08pm was our last phone call with the driver who couldn't speak english properly, was clearly still lost and wouldnt give us an eta kept saying he would be there soon and hung up. We eventually gave up on the pizza order as it was over 2hrs late by this stage and we were starving - so we ordered from Uber Eats and had our food within 25mins from ordering online. I have tried calling the Woolloongabba store again this morning and noone is picking up. Still no pizza! I want a full refund and am never using Pizza Hut again for the horrible experience an...
Where do I begin? I have ordered from this store a few times in the past with no issue, food and delivery time used to be great. Ordered the other day and, surprise, the store was actually closed (even though the app let me order). That isn't so much an issue of this store as it is a remark of pizza huts general lack of customer support channels as compared to a few years ago. Pizza never arrived, though I have been charged. Attempted to ring the store, as did the PH customer service rep, got through after a combined ~40 times, and they said they never received the order so therefore cannot issue a refund. It's going on 5-6 days now of contacting support centre only to be pushed back again. Never order from this pizza hut, and honestly, given my experience with pizza huts general lack of care (/greed) when it comes to hotlines to ring in case of issue, just stick with literally any other pizza place in the entire country. I have no reprise for my situation and I have literally never interfaced with a more pathetic attempt of a corporation. The previous review mentioned the ACCC, and yes, it is that bad. I agree. Watch some bot reply to this review with some apology and no way to fix the situation or a number/email to contact and...
