I placed an online order through the Subway app on 12/09/2025 for a chicken strips salad bowl with extra chicken and no onions (I have a serious onion allergy). When I picked up my order, I noticed it had onions, so I returned to the counter and politely asked for a new salad. The male staff member with curly hair offered to remove the onions or make a new one. I requested a fresh salad due to my allergy. What followed was extremely unprofessional he mocked me to another customer, laughed loudly, and made sarcastic comments to his colleague like “You want to kill people by serving them onions?” I felt humiliated and very uncomfortable in front of other customers. When I asked to speak with the manager, he refunded my order in cash but didn’t apologies or show any concern about how I was treated. As someone who regularly buys lunch from this outlet three times a week, I expected much better. Subway is not offering free meals customers deserve to be treated with respect, especially when a health condition is involved. Subway seriously needs to train its staff on basic customer service and how to handle food allergy situations professionally. I won’t be returning after...
Read moreThe food is average and the service is okay however the 1 star is in relation to the wait times. I want to be clear that this negative feedback isnt about the staff - they're doing their best. This review is to the manager doing the schedule...you need more than 3 people working at peak lunch time! The staff are flat out with online orders and so the F2F line moves incredibly slowly. I waited 30 minutes to get to the front of the line to place my order. And then once you get to the front of the line and are unlucky enough to want an ingredient that has run out, you wait another 5 minutes for it to be replaced as the staff member has to go out the back and replace it. There should be someone on hand to do this like a manager or someone! If there was any better options at QUT I would...
Read morevery disappointed after waiting almost 30 minutes in the queue (there was a concert at the river stage so they were busy) only to get to the front of the line and be told they had no bread left. so i got a wrap which was definitely not worth the almost $14 i paid for it. on such a busy afternoon they had 3 teenagers running the store run off their feet and they all looked clueless. there should have been a higher up store manager there helping them, and they should have a sign out the front of the store telling people they have no bread left as people were waiting for up to 30 minutes and then leaving when they got to the front because they didn’t want a wrap or a salad. do better subway, i really feel for those poor young people working yesterday thrown in way over...
