Chanced upon this place whilst having a day out in New Farm. We got the salmon bagel and chilli scrambled eggs. They looked unassuming, but were both so delicious. The salmon bagel had generous amounts of cream cheese and smoked salmon, which was perfectly balanced out with the dill, capers, onion, and lemon. The bagel itself was soft with the perfect amount of bite. The chilli scrambled eggs were incredible! So soft and buttery, almost like a steamed egg. I would go back for this dish, and the chilli oil it came with. I went out back to use the bathroom and saw there was a road bike workshop - cool vibes. It was a bit warm as it’s currently the height of summer and no aircon, but the food alone made it worth it. Wish I could’ve tried their coffee now reading all the reviews, but will definitely be back for more. 5/5!

The kindest staff ever! Ian and the girls are literally the sweetest and make everything in house (the food, pesto, strawberry syrup for their matchas). I’m spoiled by them with kindness and cute stickers . My favourites lately have been the oat milk cold brew, passport cold brew soft serve (happens to be vegan) and iced sparkling strawberry matcha . When I go away, I’m Reminded of how much I miss them and the beautiful treatment I get here

Awesome coffee, good food, and great, friendly service! Only loses a star because there are way too many bugs/flies. I changed tables 3 times and couldn't get away from them. I know this is a common issue in Australia, but it seems more of a problem here. I was actually supposed to meet a friend here but text him to meet elsewhere to escape the flies. Great place otherwise!

I first visited under the helm of original owner Luke, returning after a 10 year hiatus in Tassie I was pleased that the quality of coffee hasn’t changed, even if the staff have.

I feel that the foundations of this place are, brilliant coffee from Passport Specialty Coffee (does it get much better?) a combination of, slightly out of the way location, interesting fitout with a cycling focus but not so focussed that the 90% of people that were there when I visited felt the need to be on bikes or clad in Lycra and quick service (I waited about 3 minutes for my small takeaway and the shop was very busy)

Although I no longer identify as a ā€œDouble Income No Kidsā€ I still felt like I could visit and enjoy my coffee, just need a French Bulldog and I’d be...

šŸ‘ With the exception of one instance, everything was fantastic. šŸ‘Ž However, I had a negative experience when he approached me and informed me that we had run out of lemons without offering any alternatives. As a cafe owner and professional, I believe it's important to consider every detail in a dish. When an ingredient is unavailable, it is advisable to notify the customer and suggest alternative options. Even a slight modification or substitution would be appreciated. Unfortunately, in this case, the employee simply stated the unavailability of lemons without presenting any alternatives, which is far from an...
