Work lunch. Super quick. Not a Vietnamese fan so had a chicken and coriander roll. Can't remember their proper name. Water on table quickly with glasses for everyone after we all sat. Sometimes have to ask for table water at some places so that was great. All my work mates chomped down on what they ordered. Duck salad. 3 had the soup and all bowls empty. My roll was lovely and fresh. My only problem is the chicken I only eat and like is white chicken breast. This was not breast so a bit chewy. Still ate it all. My first order was a Fried Rice and I couldnât decide if I wanted pork or chicken. When I asked if sheâd make me a mixed fried rice (the best kind, IMHO), her words were âif it makes you happy, why not?â
Fairly quick service ensued and when I tucked into a gorgeous bowl of steaming fried rice with generous chunks of pork and slivers of chicken, the fresh coriander leaves served with this fried rice bowl elevated the dish.
Phat Pho gives you a choice of serving size, which makes it easier to enjoy as well.
