If you’re looking for a wine bar where the staff are more fragile than the stemware, congratulations—you’ve found it. I got kicked out of Wild Legs for the crime of… asking two perfectly normal questions. Apparently, that’s considered “rude” in their world.
The waiter was so hypersensitive it felt like walking on eggshells just to order a drink. One minute you’re asking about the wine list, the next you’re being treated like a villain for daring to speak. Reality check: this is hospitality, not therapy. If your staff can’t handle simple questions without having a meltdown, maybe a wine bar isn’t the right career path.

We tasted wines from Georgia and Piedmonte, enjoyed quality salami such as an unusual squid ink and truffle one which looked like a slice of high end terrazzo and tasted divine. Manolo who already seems to know everyone passing by, gently guided us to try wines which we might not have otherwise selected, the Italian Barbera being a standout. And the blue cheese with muscatels was a perfect bite to accompany the fabulous wine selection.
