Went here for dinner on a Monday night. We ordered the signature beef pho, the Bun bo Hue - spicy beef noodle soup, and the wagyu beef salad. The pho came with tender slices of beef, nicely seasoned broth with fragrant but not overpowering hints of spices. The spicy beef noodle soup was another classic dish that we tried. Broth had a good kick from all the chilli oil, and the soup had a pleasant sourness that brought out flavours from the toppings of beef, pork and pork loaf. One of us ordered a wagyu beef salad, which was a lovely new take on the traditional beef salad. Peppery and slightly bitter watercress complemented the sweet and sour dressing on juicy wagyu beef, and the crackers gave a must needed crunchy texture. Food was also nicely presented, would definitely recommend.

A workplace lunch for collective birthdays. We booked a table for 9. We went on a Friday which is crispy pork day. Those that ate the crispy pork dishes said they were delicious. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I had the chef's special a mushroom pancake, which was delicious. Friendly staff. Easy to order and pay as a group as table orders are done via a barcode scan, so no bill splitting problems. Though I did miss reading a hard copy menu and chatting with the staff about the menu... online menu ordering a little impersonal. No doubt others will totally love it. Also the homemade lemon drink was reportedly delicious and refreshing.

3.25 ⭐️ Xin Chào presents itself with a promising menu filled with a variety of appealing dishes at reasonable prices. The concept of ordering via QR code streamlines the experience, although it does mean you miss out on much personal interaction with the staff—service is adequate but minimal. I had the Steamed Pancake, which unfortunately fell short of expectations. The dish didn’t capture the essence of the traditional version; the sheets were unusually chewy, resembling rice paper rolls rather than the delicate, freshly made pancakes. The overall flavor was underwhelming and lacked the freshness

*Edit: I have increased their review to 3 stars. As per the business's response to my review it was my own mistake to order soup on a rainy day and using their delivery option. I should have expected long wait times and/or cold soup. I apologise for being upset that I had to wait over an hour and half for your delivery partner. I typed the review after standing in the rain outside my home, after your delivery partner called to say he had arrived. Unfortunately he was lost. I was probably just cold and hungry. As I said, my apologies for reviewing your business based on my experience. I will make sure not to order anything online via delivery - when it rains in the future. *

Maybe it's just been my last two experiences. But I ordered soup and they forgot to give me the soup making me drive all the way back to the restaurant and this time I ordered it as delivery and so far it's been an hour and a half and now I have a meeting so not sure when it will arrive or if I'll even get to eat it. Didn't really allow for an hour and a half. Food is good here. Just don't order take away, don't go in their busy periods and don't order if you're in a rush and don't have more than an...

Just came back from dinner there this evening. The food was terrific and the prices were very modest. I had the lemongrass beef while my companions had lots of different spring rolls, tofu salad, shaking beef, vegetarian pho and chicken curry. We shared a bottle of pinot noir. Everything was fresh and tasty and the staff were kind and courteous. The only reason I didn't give the restaurant five stars was because the seating was so uncomfortable. We were a party of six and one of my dining companions had hip problems so we could not sit at the table on high stools. The stools are only suitable for drinking anyway as they are the wrong height to be able to eat food. The wait staff were very helpful and moved us to another table but the bench seats were barely any better. If they would get of their their horrible bench seats and replace them with proper chairs and get rid of their uncomfortable bar stools to replace them with high stools that have proper chair backs on them, I would give this...

Jan 2019 - Updated review - we arrived at the restaurant at 8.35pm on Tuesday night - we were informed their kitchen had already closed. Not impressed - especially when their trading hours clearly say its open til 9pm. If you're going to close at 8.35pm they should list their closing time as 8.30pm. What's the point of a restaurant saying its open til 9pm when it no longer serves food at 8.30pm? What if you went to a restaurant that opened at 10am, but were informed they weren't accepting orders until 10.27- would that be acceptable? We drove over 35 minutes from the southside to get there. Waitress said she would tell her manager... In the meantime I'll keep telling everyone... (BTW I'm a TripAdvisor reviewer as well)

2018 Enjoyed their Viet pancake with prawns. The vegetables inside were a little large, but the dish was quite authentic. Also had their soft shell crab bao....not bad but the sauce was a little strange. Overall taste was good but servings on the small side...
