Barefoot Brew Room has been one of my favourites since it opened in 2012! Rodney is always bringing smiles to the faces of those stumbling through the bifold doors, from sunup til close. The house blend is delicious, full-bodied and satiating to the palate. Roasted Italian style (drawing form Rod’s own heritage) it tastes (in my humble opinion) the way coffee should taste. There is always a delicious single origin on tap, and a secondary lighter roast that suits milky coffees better (higher acidity, cuts through the milk fat). Barefoot Brew Room is an off-to-the-side coffee shop in Byron Bay, New South Wales. They offer multiple separate brews for purchase and you can even buy the bean mixtures to make the coffee at home. The prices are a bit on the pricey side for my liking, but the well brewed drinks are definitely on the better done side of the coffee spectrum.
