Absolute ripoff. A tasting menu was $55 which we understood wouldn’t be an enormous amount of food but it honestly was so tiny it was laughable. Whilst tasty, the meat was not worth that price at all. Our thought process was to try the tasting menu, work out what we want and then order more. Once we saw the price we realised that was definitely not going to happen. It took them 40 minutes to deliver the plate of uncooked meat and a bowl of rice, the restaurant only had 4 active tables who had already had most of their food delivered. We started to wonder if they were cooking the meat and giving it to us after or they just forgot? It was so dark we couldn’t see what was cooked and what wasn’t. Not worth your money or time. If they provided more food and a quicker service this place would be much more worth the cost of going.

Calm and quite place away from all the night noise in Byron. It's a great place just around the corner of the town center in Byron, away from all the noise, dancing and live music. The staff was super friendly. The chef came out to have a chat with us. He explained all the meat options and in which order we should have them in the BBQ. The salads were amazing and there were enough meat options for all 3 of us in the BBQ option. I wish there were a bit more Wagyu thouhgh. :) The resturant was supposed to close at 8.30. ( or 9.30, I'm not sure) However the staff was kind enough not to even mention it to us. They were patiently waiting for us to finish our food and desserts. Hats off to the exceptional service!!

I recently dined at this Yakiniku Japanese restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience. The beef was absolutely delicious—tender, flavourful, and perfectly cooked if you are as good as me. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and of excellent quality, which makes all the difference. The dumplings are a must-try! They were packed with flavor and had just the right texture. Whether you’re a fan of Yakiniku or just looking for a great meal, this place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience, look no further than the family-owned Japanese restaurant in our local area. I just had the pleasure of dining at this fine establishment and was blown away by the quality of food, service, and ambiance.

From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome by the staff. The decor was elegant and traditional, giving me the feeling of being transported to Japan.

But the highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the food. Every dish that I tried was simply outstanding. The sushi was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the sashimi was expertly sliced and presented beautifully. The gyoza was perfectly light and crispy, and the wagyu was some of the best I've ever had.

But what really set this restaurant apart was their attention to detail. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and was able to recommend dishes that were delicious. Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. If you're a lover of Japanese cuisine, be sure to pay a visit to this wonderful family-owned gem. You won't be...

Absolute ripoff. The portions were ridiculously small, and I was overcharged for several items — including ones I never even received. They pretended it was a mistake, but that’s a lie. They knew exactly what they were doing.

Please read the one-star reviews carefully — every single one of them is true! The quality is low, and the taste is mediocre. You can find this level of Japanese food anywhere (though it might actually be hard to find a place that serves portions this tiny!).

I’ve been to many Japanese restaurants, but this one is by far the worst. The service was awful and felt like a scam. The staff smiled constantly, but their eyes showed that all they cared about was how to make more profit. Even their smiles felt creepy. Everything they do seems calculated. Don’t be fooled!

I would absolutely not recommend this place. Please read the one-star...
