Street Sushi — Restaurant in Byron Bay

I got food poisoning after eating the salmon and avo sushi rolls from street sushi which made me feel really sick and nauseous. I am very disappointed by the poor quality and handling of food. I returned to tell the cashier about this and no genuine apology or refund was offered. Best to avoid this sushi spot.

Thanks for the prompt response from management! To answer some of the below questions and to clarify the situation: 1 - I ate the sushi within 5 minutes of purchasing it. I mentioned to your staff member I was at the beach when I vomited several times after consuming your sushi. 2 - the sushi in the display is not being cooled and could be outside of the fridge for long periods which raises poor food handling concerns for me. I hope you manage to rectify these issues...

We love this place. It’s got such epic choice, tempura, fresh, cali rolls and you can see it all in front of you. Legit pick and point to whatever you want. They do meal deals too. It’s all super fresh and tasty. Absolutely love the staff too, super helpful and efficient. Haha my partners son even commenting ‘whatever They’re charging, it’s not enough’ ha think that’s his way of saying it’s absolutely delicious .. keep up the epic work you...

This sushi is witchcraft. How do they make rice, a slither of seaweed and some veggies taste so good? It is impossible to walk past this store and not get sucked in and buy sushi. It's like this store is a black hole and I am the rest of the universe. Or however that stuff works. I'm not an astronaut. Point is this sushi is the best. Go here before we actually get sucked into a black hole and you never get to try this...
