Two days ago, my wife ordered dinner from Rolld in Belconnen. She asked if I wanted anything. I asked her to order me a tofu banh mi ($9). They delivered me a tofu rice paper roll ($3).
I walked past Rolld at 6pm today and ordered a tofu banh mi. They looked busy, so I thought it might take a while. After about 25 minutes, I noticed people who ordered after me were being served. I waited another 5 minutes before asking if my order was still in the system. She didn’t say yes or no, but said ‘give me 2 minutes and I’ll make it’. 15 minutes later, she gave me my order.
I said “it got lost in the system, didn’t it?”.
In the most condescending and uncaring voice you could imagine, she said “yeeeeeeeeeeah, sorry about that.”
Zero stars. Not going back.

I just gave you guys another chance. Ordered a tofu pho to take away and I asked for the mushrooms to be left out. The person behind the counter nodded. When I got home, I noticed the bowl was full of mushrooms. I'm allergic. I tipped the whole thing out.

When we arrived the staff member was calling out two beef pho for an order that was ready. The lady they were calling out wasn't there. We ordered and they called out again with no response. We walked over to order bubble tea and came back. Ours was sitting there. It took a minute for the staff member to finish serving people at the register and tell us that it was ours - sounding a bit frazzled. I took the tray with the one beef pho and we went and sat down. The pho was not hot (just warm) and the bowl had started changing colour/ going soggy - in the same way as the two pho that had been sitting there a while.
I don't know whether we had just been given one of the ones that had not been collected, or whether ours was made fresh... But it certainly felt like they had just taken one of the previous customers bowls and passed it off as ours.
The flavour was good and the portion size was reasonable but we were disappointed with the temperature and appearance and felt like we were eating...
Read moreI ordered a bowl of pho at this place on Tuesday, disappointed. There was no issue with beef or any other veggies, but after I had those toppings and grabbed noodle, well, brown. Some parts were literally brown in colour, some noodles just stuck each other, when I grabbed with chopstick even I didn't press hard or whatever it just broke into pieces, really weak, fragile. Anyhow, I was feeling quite unwell that day, didn't want to argue, just had toppings and planned to leave but my mom went to one of the staff members, asking why the noodle looks like that. All that staff said was "Beef. It's rare beef." Didn't wanna argue anymore, went back to seat, took picture, left. Did someone left rare bloody beef on top of noodle for hours? Is that how blood gets stained on noodle? I tried many vietnamese restaurants in Belco, civic, occonor, even went vietnam few years ago and I never saw rice noodle being like that. Well, 12.50.
