wow. what an absolute delight of a restaurant. I'm a local of fremantle and a lover of vietnamese food, so when I saw that there was a rolld in the area, I was thrilled.
The restaurant? they definitely did not disappoint. The decor and cleanliness of the store was fantastic. It really embodied the heart of fremantle with its beautiful mural. I felt like one of the young people sitting there enjoying my food. The floors and tables were very clean as well.
The service was fantastic. I was greeted with a 'hello, how are you?' and a big smile. The server was very patient and knowledgeable about the food even after I had asked her many different questions about the menu. When I left, I was also given a friendly goodbye. I felt very welcome in the store from when I came in til when i left.
A strong compliment to the chef as the food was delicious. I ordered the beef pho and a sweet potato fries. The soup was very well seasoned and the portions was decently sized. The sweet potato fries were also fantastic and came with a spicy mayonnaise sauce that I really enjoyed. For the price that I paid I was quite happy with my meal.
So if you want to enjoy a little slice of vietnam I highly recommend rolld. It is one of the most convenient places in fremantle for some quality asian food. So, from one passionate foodie, if you are in the area, pop into the...
Read moreWe have been to quite a few Roll’d location across Perth and usually order the chicken curry noodle soup. Unfortunately, the Fremantle Roll’d was underwhelming with its flavourless soup that seemed to be lacking in flavour but possibly missing some ingredients? The soup was watery and had so much coriander that I eventually stopped eating it. We ordered the soups as combos and got prawns and sweet potato chips as the sides. The deep fried prawns were a little cold but tasted like deep fried prawns, the sweet potato chips were over cooked bordering burnt. The restaurant was not busy as it was around 10:30am on a weekday, however the tables were slightly dirty and required us to wipe them ourselves. It was slightly disappointing as we usually enjoy the Roll’d franchise but it’s unlikely we will visit the Fremantle store again as there are so many more dining options...
Read moreI have been a regular customer of Roll'd Fremantle since it opened several years ago. At about 1.30pm today, 5 September 2024, I went to get my usual fried rice and was told it wasn't available. This was after the cashier tried getting the attention of the staff member in the kitchen who was absorbed on her mobile phone and wouldn't respond until she finally came out of her digital hypnosis and simply nodded "no". There was no explanation as to why the meal I have been getting for over 3 years was not available today. I urge Roll'd to review your staffing at this store. It was appalling and rude. With a competitive lunch market in Fremantle you have now lost a long term customer and supporter. I had an equally delicious fried rice from your competitor in the same food court. I'll be recommending them and...
