Chatime Pacific Fair - Ground Floor — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I always feel disappointed when have to leave a 1-star review. Unfortunately, I can completely relate to those customers who left a 1-star review below.

I've purchased a milky Oolong tea yesterday from this outlet, and whilst the taste was just average, I was in a complete disbelief how bad their service and attitude were. After I've played the order after another lady before me, I stepped to the side to wait for my tea. As time goes by, I started to feel like it's taking some time, so I looked at the staff. Young lady was taking the orders and a gentleman was staying next to her scrolling something on his mobile!!! I thought maybe there is another person who's making teas at the back, out of our view. And I was wrong! The guy just COULDN'T BE BOTHERED TO MAKE anything, his phone was a priority! And he wasn't shy about it, staying at the front and scrolling away. So, I asked the lady who ordered before me, she looked very surprised and unhappy as well, so when I asked the serving lady if anyone is going to start making our orders, she pushed the guy and said something to him, after that he unwillingly finished watching his phone and slowly and in the most demotivating way proceeded to make our drinks.

Needless to say that I wouldn't visit that place again, I'd rather buy a bottle of plain water from Woolies right next to this outlet. Definitely not...

[Chatime in old Pacific Fair Food Court] Bubble tea is great! Super happy with my orders, however, the customer service from this one lady ruins the whole experience. I went to order today (twice). The first time i went up, they had no pearls. I was ok with that, what i was not ok with though was the way this particular lady there told me that no pearls were available. Instead of apologising and saying that the pearls aren't available ama will be soon, she blatantly stated "We have no pearls." The second time i went to order (and this time pearls were available) i asked to have extra pearls instead of just one regular scoop. The lady then stated (again rudely) "You could have just said double pearl toppings" as if i was bothering her and wasting her time. All in all, i do recommend the bubble tea. If you want friendly chatime staff, the one near Woolworths in the new section of Pacific Fair...

First time ordering from Chatime here and it was highly agitating. I ordered four milk teas with pearls which of course never takes long and it was made under 1 min since there was no other customers. But then the two workers just sat my drinks on the table inside the shop but still visible to me and just started taking another order while the other one was just washing her hand till the new order was given to her to make. My 4 drinks which all they had to do was give it to me sat there for another 4 min for no reason. At first thought it was some new protocol regarding the pandemic but when I asked them for the drink they were like “these are yours?” Even though they served me like 5 min ago... turns out they are just not very smart. The manager should train the employees to finish the whole process of taking the order - making the order - GIVING OUT THE ORDER...
