Crema Espresso — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Came here for a brunch date with my friend. Started off really amazing, staff were kind coffee was amazing. The food is good too just wish they could mention it certain foods have nuts. Decided to get the pancakes but no where is it written that it is served with granola and specifically granola with walnuts and almonds, I had a tiny little taste and that’s when I realised something was wrong as I started to have an allergic reaction. Asked the staff to take it back and if I could get something else when they told me I had to pay extra if I wanted something else. I totally get it’s a business and all but you guys were at fault, if I knew it was served with nuts I wouldn’t of gotten it or asked for no nuts. When I asked to speak with the manager he refused to talk told his staff that it’s either I get a refund and no food or pay the extra. I also onow I could’ve just gotten a remake of the pancakes without the granola but at that point my appetite for the pancakes had gone due to the allergic reaction, from there the staff were rude towards me. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone but if you do go make sure you ask what’s on it before you order…very...

This place is alright. It’s your typical semi-overpriced brunch spot, but the food is not the worst which is always alleviating.

Unfortunately for a place with coffee in its name, the coffee is sub-par. Would avoid if you can. Iced mocha was very diluted and not made with any care or consideration. Staff are very monotone and don’t really pay attention to customers, which is alright, they might’ve been having a bad day

The green goddess salad I tried was generous in my opinion with quite a few good ingredients squeezed in. I got it with the addition of grilled chicken which was dry and bland so I’d recommend having it without meat if you were to get it

Pancakes were yummy and came very generously topped which was great!

Overall, not the worst place to go in Surfers but would advise trying other places as this is just your average cafe without heaps to...

Terrible Cafe, for such a good location. Stopped in here with 2 other people, we all made a separate order and sat at the same table, we all had ordered a bottle of water, the staff tried telling us we didn't. Luckily I had gotten a recipt, after that was sorted we received our food, I had a toasted chicken cheese avo crossiant, showed up stone cold. A toasted cheese tomato ham sandwich it also showed up cold. Hasbrowns with a breakfast burrito, the hashbrown literally looked like it had been microwaved and had no crunch on it at all, the burrito was dry and disgusting. Definitely don't recommend coming here for food at all. Even the service was terrible. Avoid wasting...
