If you’re strolling through Surfers Paradise and suddenly feel the universe calling you to something sweet and delicious – follow that call straight into Crêpe Addict!
This place is pure magic for anyone who loves crepes, waffles, or buttermilk pancakes. Their menu is seriously stacked — savoury crepes like the Sunny Side Up or Florentine are absolute bangers for breakfast, lunch, or whenever you want a happy food dance moment. Sweet crepes like Chocoholic or the Exotic with mango, banana, and coconut feel like a tropical holiday wrapped in a crepe.
The waffle options are fantastic too (big shout out to the banana waffles – yum) and if you’re a pancake lover, the Buttermilk Pancakes with fresh berries will melt your soul.
Prices are really reasonable given the quality and portion sizes (most around $15-19 for a full meal-worthy crepe), and they don’t skimp on toppings or flavours. The vibe is fun and friendly, and it’s located right next to all the excitement of Surfers — perfect for a treat while shopping or before hitting the beach.
Absolutely recommend if you’re a sweet tooth, a crepe connoisseur, or just someone who wants a bit of edible happiness...
Read moreI stood at the counter waiting for a solid 6 minutes without being served or acknowledged.. looking left right left.. it felt a bit awkward.. I would have left although my partner was looking forward to trying this place and was sitting down excitedly waiting.
After 9 minutes, the barista finally looked at me with a crooked smile and said, just one more minute please.
As I smiled back and waited patiently, the waitress that has been walking back in and out, folding the forks into the napkins and bringing out the food to people whilst trying to ignore my gaze, unsmiling, finally came back over and said - Okay, yes?
Needless to say, service wasn’t very friendly at all. They were quite busy so perhaps they were strained.
Nonetheless, I’m grateful to say that at least the food was good and my partner was a happy man. The portion was decent and the prices are much lower than most other breakfast spots in surfers.
$14 for 2 poached eggs that were cooked well, 2 good sized pieces of rasher bacon and 2 slices of toast.
All other dishes that were coming out looked very pretty. Coffee was good - no coffee art though.

Read moreNot sure why this place is getting amazing reviews. The food was VERY ordinary and the service was even worse. We lined up to order behind a lady putting in a drink order. There were 2 girls taking and distributing orders and 2 people cooking. The service lady took the order in front of me, looked at me then started making a coffee. She didn’t acknowledge me at all. Another girl came to take my order. I told her what I wanted she then LEFT ME AT THE COUNTER and went to clean tables. I hadn’t paid yet (wish I’d taken it as a sign). About 3 mins later the coffee girl came to “complete” my order. Anyways ordered a thick shake. It came. It was like water. I took it back and they said “it must have melted” ???!!!! What!? Ok The waffle came out and there are two options for an extra $2.50. I assumed that the $2.50 covered everything in that option. Nutella, maple syrup and cream. Noooooo it was $2.50 for a tiny bowl (think soy sauce) of JUST Nutella. The waffle was overcooked but my son was hungry so just ate it. I do not recommend and would never eat there again. My sister had a coffee and she said it was like drinking...
