Came in with my girlfriend after church, still wearing a shirt that said “He Is the Lord” on it. It was busy, and there were only three tables left — all with leftover food from previous customers, right next to each other. We sat down at the table in the middle.
We watched as other customers sat at the nearby tables, and the servers immediately came over to clean theirs. But when it came to our table, they walked straight past. They even made eye contact with us, but moved on. We politely said “excuse me” a few times, but were completely ignored.
Even the people sitting next to us noticed what was going on and asked, “Why aren’t they cleaning your table?” They were very kind and even tried to get the staff’s attention for us, but were ignored as well.
We waited for about 20 minutes, watching new people constantly get their tables cleaned while ours was blatantly ignored. We decided to brush it off and just wait until our food came, thinking we’d ask to have it cleaned then.
When our food finally came out, we saw the waitress carrying it—only to watch her walk straight past our table as if we were invisible, then take the food back to the kitchen. We could still see it sitting there. She then spoke to another waiter, glancing in our direction and chatting as if confused.
Our food sat there for another five minutes before a different waiter finally came over and said, “Sorry, we missed this table. I’ll clear it for you and get someone to clean it.”
We then saw the same waitress who’d been chatting before come out with a cloth to wipe tables. She walked in our direction, looked right past us again, and went to clean another table instead. She avoided eye contact completely before heading back to the kitchen. Eventually, someone else came out and wiped our table. By that time, our food had been sitting on the counter for about ten minutes and was brought to us cold.
We quickly ate, cleaned our own table, and left—completely baffled by the experience. I’d suggest supporting another shop in the food court if...
Read moreWe chose to sit in the outdoor area at Grill’d Pacific Fair, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. The booth seating was damaged, with the backrest falling off, and every table around us was dirty. We ended up wiping down our own table using our son’s baby wipes.
We placed our order via the app. When the food arrived, our son’s juice was missing from his kids' pack, and the chips were cold. While the burgers were decent, the overall service let the experience down. When we asked the waitress about the missing juice, she casually mentioned they had run out and offered a water instead. She also noted that if we were willing to wait 15 minutes, more juice was on the way due to a stock run. We accepted a sparkling water instead.
Later, we requested a bottle of tap water and two glasses. After a long wait and having to follow up at the counter, the waitress finally returned with a bottle and two visibly dirty glasses. We politely asked for clean replacements, but the second set was still wet and had leftover rinse water inside, clearly just hand-washed without being dried properly. We chose not to use them.
Overall, the restaurant was dirty and poorly maintained. The floor inside was so slippery it felt unsafe, and basic cleanliness was clearly lacking – no serviettes on the tables and an overall unhygienic feel.
Unfortunately, we won’t be returning to Grill’d Pacific Fair. I hope this review encourages management to seriously address the cleanliness and staff service at...
Read moreThe other day i was shopping at pacific fair and me and my mum got hungry so obviously we are going to go to the food court to eat. everywhere was packed and had line out the door expect grill’d and i now know why. First we walk in, there was so many tables in there but not many customers but no where to sit, because they don’t know how to clean tables. anyways we find a seat and we had to order on our phones. we ordered 2 burgers with panini bun, a pepsi, and some tomato relish. after a long wait They didn’t give us our tomato relish, they put a diffrent bun on our burger that was not panini, a pepsi max not a normal pepsi and keep in mind the pepsi was hot when there were other pepsis there. I went up to the counter and the worker stacking the fridge was the rudest working i have ever seen. ( i went to the wrong counter because there was a efpos machine there so i thought that’s where i line up. the worker looks me up and done and says ‘what do you want’ i tell him the problem and he rolls his eyes and says ‘ i’m not serving you there’ so i go to the other desk and he dosent serve me so i have to wait so long for another worker to serve me and they made me pay for the other drink which wasn’t even open. it dosent stop there. mum asked for some napkins and this rude worker tells her where they are on the other side of the shop and refuses to get them for her. If your at pacific fair and want some food i highly recommend wait in line at another restaurant because this was terrible but a story to...
