Lulu Rooftop & Bar — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

“Decided to Celebrate my Birthday at Lulu (my first visit) last weekend, and the experience was nothing short of amazing!

Shaun, the venue manager displayed professionalism right from the organisation of my booking , to the set-up and layout of my table and area. He greeted us right away, making me feel special, as well as welcoming all my guests ensuring we were happy with the tables, and was even considerate of the noise and seating comfort!! He was on top of the explanation of the venue and menu, and made sure his team checked on everyone regularly without overdoing it. A particularly nice touch was coming around and filling our water too! Got to stay hydrated when drinking! We even got Lulu fans which came in so handy because of how hot it was, just another thing that made my birthday feel super special!

The food and drinks came out fast, and the meals were absolutely delicious!! Some of my friends are vegan and were really satisfied with their food! The views incredible!

Because of this experience, we already booked to celebrate New Year’s Eve at Lulu and am super excited!!!! We have even more friends joining us! I highly recommend this venue to anyone, and will be sharing my experience with all my friends and family. Truly hard to come across such pure and exceptional hospitality and customer service.

My friends and I booked to attend Lulu last Friday night and were very excited to attend as we all live locally and have been waiting for it to open. The food was great as well as the vibe of the rooftop so we were very happy with this. However, the service was quite disappointing…. When we got to our table, it was wet with drinks from the last customers which was strange as the table was booked and my name was on the reservation table plate so a staff member must have seen the table prior to seating us. Although the drinks were very good, they took over 25-35 minutes to get to the table. The dispense staff were very slow and from our table didn’t look like they knew what they were doing. I ended up going to the bar for our final drinks as the in app ordering was taking too long. Bree was my bartender and she was exceptional! Very fast, was multitasking and overall was running laps around the dispense team - it was strange why she wasn’t working on dispense. I have managed nightclubs and cocktail bars and was disappointed that the management could not see that their best staff were stationed in the wrong place.
