Horrible service, we originally went there for hamburgers but they said they couldn’t cater to us as they were closing early because apparently they weren’t busy enough which I find super unprofessional- anyway we decided to give the barramundi and chips a go and they were $18. Not badly priced but they surcharged us for everything they could. Charged us for chicken salt, using a card and were just super unfriendly. The fish was greasy and burnt and the chips were too salty, also they overcharge for a puny container of bland tartare sauce. $3 for a couple of teaspoons. The place was very messy for a place that stores and sells seafood, some of the seafood wasn’t even on ice, as far as I’m concerned that’s not great food safety! Stay away from this place.

Young female bartender refused to give me a glass of water when I requested it despite me being l paying customer dining in their establishment. She insisted the only water available to me was purchasing a bottle of water. This is against regulations according to the QLD government liquor compliance and patron safety. Direct quote below: ‘The Liquor Regulation 2002 makes it mandatory for commercial hotel licencees, community club licencees, commercial other (bar) licencees, licencees catering to a commercial public event and any licencee who trades after 12 midnight to provide cold drinking water free of charge to any patron who requests it, at any time the premises is trading.’ Basic RSA knowledge. Won’t be back.

Beautifully cooked fish. We had snapper and salmon with chips and one with salad. Surprisedly the best oysters I ever had. The service very poorly. They forgot some items of our order, but promptly fixed it. Green salad came old. Greek salad was just perfect. The boy didn’t use any spoons or gloves to grab the salad. Nice old man over there taking care of everything, otherwise… Maybe the staff wasn’t having a good day. Looking forward to go back and eat their beautiful fish and chips. Hopefully would be better. Pretty chill and peaceful place on a Tuesday afternoon.

If it was possible, I would give it a zero rather than 1 star. Horrendously bad customer service skills and some staff couldn't understand or speak English, so inherently messed up consecutive orders for about 5 customers one after the other in a queue this afternoon. Went here because they now sell alcohol with your fish and chips, and it was too busy at the Yot. My partner and I ordered 2 single fish and chip packs and repeated our order multiple times. Then we were charged for and given two small chips. After pointing it out to the staff, they told the cashier to charge $5 for a beer so that he could add two cod fish to our chips rather than refund and recharge the correct amount. My mind went straight to money laundering at this point, but it could just be that FOH staff dont actually know the menu, can't understand English, and don't know how to use the register. I was going to purchase some alcoholic beverages but refused to pay money to a place that can do all of the above and not smile, not say please or thankyou, and have complete utter lack of customer service skills and hospitality training. Coming from a hospitality background, I also noticed that they clearly weren't RSA trained, nor did they follow RSA procedures. Served a bottle of cider with a top still on and a can of JD and coke with the can not cracked to my friends - illegal not to open liquor, that is to be drank on premesis, before service, not to mention that the bottle was not a twist top and so required a bottle opener to open. Lucky my friend was able to open it without having to ask. Also seen people walking out of the licensed premises with alcohol in hand, only half drank. Big no! Better make sure you re train your staff in the key areas of Responsible Service of Alcohol and customer service. Food was average but chips had clearly been "refried". Not worth a visit unless you want to argue with a group of staff who have no idea what...

I've been here twice this week 😸 after many years.. I used to work in this area year's back as the place was busy, bustling, full of life & packed with people..a very vibrant shopping 🛍️ & visiting excellent experience.. Yesterday' I was there & the place was empty, as it was the day before??..All the different shop & retail outfits have changed & I found the shopping experience was so disappointed..I guess over the year's the shopping experience is not so vibrant.. After conducting business, we decided to eat & have lunch there before moving on, & again I found it difficult to find a suitable lunch venue to suit our needs..We did eventually choose a place to eat'..& my team thought the food was ok??..but I myself was very disappointed in the food, & also the cost of the lunch, to me was extravagant, & honestly in my case I thought the presentation & quality of the food served was well below what I expected.. But in saying that, I guess time's have changed some what's, & I can only imagine the complex must take any vendors they can to survive.. I was actually going to take my family there for a Christmas shopping experience, as I remember how wonderful it was in the past, but have decided at this time, they would be a lot happier shopping elsewhere..but as I remarked earlier I guess time's have changed & it was remiss of me to reminisce of what it was like 8-10 year's ago..I still have to do some business there, but next time..we will pack a nice business picnic lunch, & sut by the beautiful wonderful boats & yacht's there & enjoy the ambience of the place..I dearly loved to visit this area, & even though I was disappointed, I will continue to visit there as it's still a special place with fond memories for me'..🎄🎄..Merry Christmas to all...

DO NOT EAT HERE. Absolute worst meal I've had in my whole life. Ordered fried flake in batter, flake was chewy and black inside, batter on the outside was dark brown not a light golden colour as it should be. Flake wasent nice and long, instead the fish was doubble lapping making it 4times thicker than what it should be. Chips were soggy and under cooked. Potato cakes were very undercooked still hard inside, when I brought them back asking for them to be well done the male chef (wouldn't even call him a chef) abruptly snatched the potato cakes off the employee and placed them behind him on the bench, when I got them back they weren't re-cooked or anything it was the exact same potato cakes just rearranged in the box. I had advised the top potato cake was more cooked and was hoping get them all like that so instead of cooking them more he just moved the cooked one off the top top. It was so expensive too, i was going to get some crumbed prawns and they want $3.50 for 1 prawn!!!!!! I ate what I could which was not much and now I feel absolutely sick. There was my husband and 1 and our kids and my parents PLUS I'M PREGNANT. We ordered a lot and spent A LOT OF MONEY!! Please DO NOT...
