Wow! Save yourself the effort of taking a trip to the Mediterranean and come to La Luna Beach Club!
Firstly, about the staff: excellent staff can make an ordinary place great. The staff at La Luna make an exceptional place even more fantastic.
The maître D is originally from Russia, 1000km + north from Moskou. Not just a pretty face, but very knowledgeable on the menu and wine and a great conversation. Her team had the most accomodating and attentive members, a young man from France, who was very helpful and not over the top; a young girl from Oslo who speaks with an American accent and made our night one to remember; and a young girl from Vancouver who proved to be more than a delight and took turns with miss Oslo 2023 to ensure our evening was just perfect!
Then the music. Encore, music can make or break our experience. A live DJ, in our case @Dj_mr_smith, used his mix to create the perfect atmosphere; made us feel at ease and transported us to a whole new place without the worries of the world.
Next, the backdrop: a white colour setting with an azure blue pool and pink flowered bougainvilleas. This place is a floating club! Yaughts all around and the high rises of the strip further in the background. How was the sunset? Amazing!!!!!!!! My words and pictures can not tell enough how good it was.
The food and wine: we had the Kooyong Chardonnay. Yum, a great performing wine from the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. Their cellar door should be on your bucket list. Anyway, back to the club. Our table was outdoors, and the temperature was not too hot and not too cold. A winner in other words. We ordered dishes to share one by one. First we had roast capsicum with a serving of baquette. This was a great choice and very tasty anti pasta. Then we had the ravioli in an unique and amazing sauce. We needed an extra serving of bread to mop up the sauce. Fare La scarpetta! Indeed, it was that good. For mains we had the seafood risotto. A perfect choice and a happy fight over the prawns with my wife. We’re not desert people, but our host surprised us for our anniversary with “riverfire worthy fireworks” at our table and something out of this world, which was for eating and drinking at the same time.
Enough words, visit the club and dream away to a place compatible with the...
Read moreFortunate enough to have our sail boat park up to new GC Beach Club Lounge ☆ VIP feels like it! only walk away from the boat we were able to attend the beach club from opening week happened to fall near the lunar eclipse this year 💫 We've had many good big evenings wining and dinning here ! Pool lounge service Great view of our boar location, set- up 👏
Just less pretentious instagramers/influencers getting paid to take photos of there food and promote the place?
doesn't look as good as when you have genuine guest paying good money for good service -look after your genuine clientel Advice to most GC venues I feel international host are more qualified at hosting and stepping up hospitality skills standards for this venue.
When we are recurring guest - top 10 lets say. that come back weekly basis we would like to be treated a lil special once in a while. Taking over an hour for a cocktail then calling last drinks was not really cool. That's what really makes a venue stand out. Customer service
Best of luck to La Luna beach club thanks for the new concept + Want a real ambassador hit me up @darshasai @sailingobscurity
Review update highly disappointing in how this venue has started out so fine and now it feels very pretentious.
We've spent multiple nights wining and dinning here we would expect better customer service given the money we've spent at this venue.
NYE Booking was very disappointing 😞 We were told that the venue was fully booked when we we offered to buy more tickets for our table of already 10. We expected great bottle and food service for the 3 hours however it was a waste of money. Cocktails where not included in the package but no one bothered to explain that at the start. New managers are more interested in appearing important than offering a great experience.
It unfortunate GC has this air about it. Could do a lot better if you had more personalised staff to cater to high clientel. #justsaying We've spent enough money here to be...
Read moreI had high hopes for La Luna Beach Club, but my experience was disappointing. I booked a surprise birthday dinner for my partner, noting in the reservation and also called that he didn’t know his friends would be joining.
I even called on the day again to emphasize that it was a surprise and to inform the staff I had initially booked La Luna Dining but was changing to La Luna Beach Club.
Despite all this, the host completely overlooked the notes and the person that took the call did not made the changes. When we arrived, she immediately said, “You have people waiting for you,” spoiling the surprise. I tried to downplay it, but she kept insisting, and my partner figured it out. When I asked her to read the booking notes.
Later, I reminded the host about the birthday dessert I had arranged. Instead of making it special, they told me there were no complimentary options I didn’t want it for free I just wanted to be special I explained she had ruined the surprise . she brushed it off, saying, “He didn’t even realise; he was on the phone.” My partner trying to brush it off noticing she ruined the surprise. Before ordering the dessert, the waitress said , “This is for the birthday, right? We will bring some sparkles for you with the dessert -ruining that moment too.
On top of that, the service was slow, and we had to ask multiple times for simple things like water and blankets. For the price, I expected much better attention to detail.
Would not recommend for special occasions. The staff needs to be more attentive to details and...
