During my recent visit to Yot Deck Restaurant, the experience was marred by several disappointing aspects. Upon our arrival, the waitress rushed us to place our orders, citing that the kitchen would soon close. This rush to order was perplexing, considering we had arrived at the booked time of 7:30 pm. It was unclear why bookings were available at 7:30 pm if customers were expected to rush their orders due to the impending kitchen closure. Though I've booked for a table for 8 people, when I reached we have been offered 2 different tables outside. I thought that due to our booking necessary arrangements will be made to accommodate 8 people outside.
I proceeded to order the lamb shank for $44, while the boys opted for burgers. The menu boasted that the lamb shank had been cooked for 8 hours, but the actual dish did not meet expectations. The lamb shank was dry, chewy, and difficult to separate from the bones. Additionally, it was served on a bed of mashed potatoes that were meant to be covered in lamb gravy, but the gravy was disappointingly watery, overpowering the dish with salt and lacking in other flavors.
Although the waitress kindly offered a replacement meal, the options were limited. The boys' burgers were undercooked, yet they chose not to complain. The replacement meal provided to me did not justify the $44 price tag of the initial lamb shank.
Despite these culinary disappointments, the restaurant's location was a highlight. However, when compared to the exceptional lamb shank I had previously enjoyed at SeaWorld Resort, the offering at Yot Deck Restaurant fell short in terms of taste and quality.
In summary, Yot Deck Restaurant failed to deliver a satisfactory dining experience. The rushed ordering process, coupled with subpar food quality, detracted from what could have been an enjoyable evening. The discrepancy between the booking time and the pressure to order quickly left a negative impression on the overall...

The service was great, friendly staff and beautiful views. However I found the menu quite limited and underwhelming. The menu only offered a few starters (some items not available - the karaage chicken I mean come on 🤷🏽♀️). The mains are basically pub/tavern style meals (Schnitzel and chips, fish and chips etc ). This was quite disappointing as the scenery is actually really beautiful and the ambience is on point..but the menu doesn’t match the vibe it’s bringing.
Our table ordered a variety of things (fish and chips, Schnitzel ) I ordered the soft Fish tacos, burrata dish, and an extra bowl of chips as I wasn’t feeling a main meal. The soft tacos weren’t bad, I’ve had better elsewhere tho - the tortilla was not fresh so that ruined the taste.
The burrata salad - underwhelming, it tasted quite bland and the cheese was kind of hard almost like mozzarella ball style cheese. I’ve had my fair share of burrata salads in the south of France + Italy and it was probably one of my least favourites I’ve ever tasted in my life. Lacking flavour and felt like the ingredients didn’t complement each other. Soz not soz it just looked pretty.
The cocktails however are delicious. I would come here for sunset drinks or random catchups with small groups of friends. I wouldn’t come here for the food.
Honest review, I’d like to see it improve and the menu be more than just a few items. I haven’t been back since September 2023 so it may have changed. If so an updated review will...
Read moreWorst Party Experience – Poor Event Management and Lack of Communication
I hosted my birthday party here, and it was a huge disappointment. I hired a DJ as I been told there is no music and DJ in that evening (even though is Saturday) so I asked if we can make a playlists so I sent playlists to the event manager well in advance, but on the day of the party, the DJ had no idea about our music preferences and claimed she never received it. The sound system wasn’t loud enough, which completely killed the party vibe. Even worse, the DJ ignored requests from my guests and failed to create the atmosphere we were hoping for.
Despite being rushed to make full payment before the event, the management was completely unprofessional. After the event, I sent an email with my complaints, but the only email she replied was she reviewing my concerns and will get back to me as soon as possible and it been few weeks already and when I sent another email to follow up she just ignored… how professional is that? For a venue that claims to offer great service, this was the worst place I’ve ever experienced for a party.
On the positive side, the waitstaff were nice and well-organized, but unfortunately, the event manager was terrible at managing the event.
Finally, after all this complaint they got back to me and it turned out that it was the mistake on the agency of the entertainment side who’s the restaurant deals with about the DJ didn’t send the playlist through so they offered me full refund for this case and I’m really appreciate it that the restaurant took...
