Having many vegan options is great, but we had several issues with our food on Saturday night. The staff were very accomodating and offered alternatives/refunds for what we were unhappy with. Food 1 star, Service 5 stars. The "loaded" mushroom waffle fries had at best 1 tiny old sliced mushroom on them. We asked for more mushrooms and they added a good amount more, but how it first came out was pretty terrible for loaded fries. The two sauces were also not very complimentary to each other, making for a bit of a strange overall flavour. The vegan pepperoni pizza had the worst vegan cheese I've ever seen. It was more like a sauce (tasted like a macaroni sauce), so the pizza was just a wet sloppy mess. The kitchen said "this is how vegan cheese melts", which is just plain untrue. I would suggest sourcing a different vegan cheese. Made with Plants cheddar and Sheese are both great brands that melt/grill like real cheese and taste good too. Both available from Coles/Woolies. The crust was ok, but the pepperoni was average. In general it was the worst pizza I've had in my life. We ate a couple of slices and then asked for a refund, which they immediately gave us. Our friends enjoyed their non-vegan pasta in the pizza dough bowls. The bread from their bowls was strangely way better than the...

Coolangatta Pizzeria certainly knows how to make a fantastic pizza! The pizza we ordered was genuinely delicious—perfect crust, generous toppings, and cooked just right. It's the kind of pizza that makes you want to come back for the food alone.

However, the experience fell a bit short on the service side. The main frustration was the collection system: we were given a buzzer to alert us when our order was ready, but it never went off. After a significant wait, we eventually had to go up and check, only to find our pizza had been sitting there waiting. It felt like an unnecessary, lengthy pause between ordering and eating.

Another point to note is the lack of any multi-pizza deals. Given the price point, some sort of package for families or groups ordering more than one would be a welcome addition.

In summary, if you're purely after top-quality pizza on the southern Gold Coast, this place is a must-try. Just be proactive about checking on your order, and don't rely solely on the buzzer! The food is stellar enough to warrant a high rating, but a little more attention to customer flow would make it a truly...

I ordered a vegan pizza and ended up with a pizza with bacon and what seemed to be real pepperoni on it. Feeling a little sick, I brought it back and was made another vegan pizza, and was told that the sole worker there didn’t have the authority to give me a refund but I can pick a drink or something for free, which I declined. While eating the second pizza I came across a bit of hard plastic (pictured). The pizza itself was actually pretty good aside from the unwanted garnish and the worker was a little aloof but lovely. I tried to find a way to contact the company directly, because we all make mistakes but I do think something like this should be taken seriously to avoid allergic reactions and so forth, but couldn’t find an email or direct way to contact them. Overall, I wouldn’t eat...

Well priced for quality of the food my partner and I got Carbonara and a meat lovers pizza with some sides. Pasta was great I give it 4/5 not a traditional carbonara but it's clearly states that on the menu it is also served on a bowl or garlic bread what is very unique, pizza is a 3/5 toppings slipped off the base way too much but the taste was definitely there, the dough was nothing fancy but definitely a step above from the standard pizza chain, definitely will return for more pasta.

The spaghetti was plain and tasted like jar spaghetti with no meat and put on a piece of dough that wasn’t cooked well and still doughy. When nearly completing the pasta I felt something hard to find out there was plastic in my food. The mozzarella sticks were cold. They had asked if I wanted take away or dine in, i said dine in. It had looked like they had just thrown all the food into paper bowls and plates. Don’t even have the effort to put it on plates. Would never go again
