The Coffee Club Café - Surfers Paradise — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Went to grab a late brunch with my friend and sister, while visiting the coast. I used to work at Coffee Club as an employee and also have worked in the industry for 10~ years so I am very well educated.

I had ordered exactly as stated on the menu a SALTED CARAMEL milkshake and when I said that to cashier - was argued with that there is only a salted caramel frappe.. Continued past that hiccup, I ordered my friends meal, asking to add the VEGAN aioli, as she is vegan. Upon receiving order, I tasted the aioli to be sure (also considering some people order the vegan option as egg allergy is very much REAL) We had received normal garlic aioli, I took it back to the kitchen staff and they proceeded to tell me they don't have the vegan one and I was holding the bottle - reading the ingredients, it 100% is NOT vegan. They offered me mayonnaise and did not have an allergen list or ingredient list for that either. I asked - but on the menu, it's used on your flat grill that's marked VEGAN.

They proceeded to tell me, they use the GARLIC NON VEGAN AIOLI for this dish.

My experience was terrible at this coffee club. Extremely poor service from employees. First stay here we ordered two mango frappes and they proceeded to give us milkshakes. As I said nicely to one of the employees that it was wrong they were extremely rude hence the service they are currently providing which is ridiculous. She had a horrible attitude towards us. I understand stress is a thing under pressure but this is business. Today we went for a late lunch and we asked for wedges and they gave us plain chips. Then we asked for two strawberry frappes (iced drinks) and we received one correct drink and a milkshake. They then brought the correct chips and struggled to even give us a sauce. This baffles me as it is not busy today at all, and it is just honestly so frustrating and we will not be coming back. Genuinely the worst hospitality I've ever come accross. Went around 3pm on Friday with a handful tables occupied. The Asian lady at the counter was so so so rude that she was almost yelling even for just the basic things. I saw her with almost all the guests there the same. I mostly visit the Helensvale Coffee club and they're such good people there you always wanna go back. But this Cavill one is just pathetic. There was a South American lady first who was least bothered to even look at us to take the order and oh the attitude for both this and the Asian lady. I can't even imagine talking to anyone in such a rude way. If you can't even take a coffee order without yelling at people how do you even get employed? I never leave a negative review, neither do i like to. But whoever is reading this just go to any other cafe but this. Won't ever be back here to pay and...
