The Tea Team — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I've been a loyal customer of this boba shop in Gold Coast, and it usually my favorite. However, I'm disappointed to leave a one-star review because of consistently terrible service. Initially, there were two wonderful clerks—a friendly Chinese lady and a Thai girl—who always made me feel welcome.

Recently, a new Chinese woman started working there with an incredibly rude attitude. I came in once 15 minutes before closing, and politely asked if they could still take my order. Instead of helping, she rolled her eyes, kept counting cash, and refused to provide any proper customer service. When I ordered, she insisted there were no boba in my tea, despite me having ordered the same drink over 10 times before. To top it off, she completely messed up my drink by loading way too much sugar, despite my request for half sugar.

On another occasion during regular business hours, her attitude were just as appalling. She ignored me and let another staff member take over when I was trying to communicate with her.

I come here every time I want to have one . Been used 4-5 loyal card . Been here since they just open. I miss the Asian men who made the milk tea for me first time ( May be he is manager) . He made so good , more taro and the taste of milk tea very nice smell. But it is different now when I got different staff to do . Only just 1 small spoon of taro I guess , the milk tea very light and it been change to green milk tea in the supper fresh taro , i hated the smell of the green tea in the milk tea .Not as good as before when the men there. Best place for bubble tea at the price point on the Gold Coast at the Tea Team! Wonderful tea, brightly lit atmosphere, and the most store polite owners I have ever met. They are so generous taro and chestnut toppings, I even recommended it to friends from interstate and overseas and they were all amazed it was so good. The drinks are also not as sweet as a lot of other places, less syrupy and much more fruity which is wonderful, things are made fresh!
