Yum Siam Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

We had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. While dining as a party of eight, two of us had to wait an exceptionally long time for our main meals (60min +). The restaurant initially explained that the delay was because we had ordered entrées. However, another couple at our table also ordered entrées but received their mains on time.

After some confusion, the staff eventually admitted that they had started serving another table before finishing our order. This meant six of us had already finished eating by the time the last two meals arrived, which completely disrupted the dining experience for our group.

The food was decent, but the lack of coordination and customer care left a sour taste. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve...

I ordered the Vegetable Fried Rice for $18.90, but when I received it, there was no rice or tofu in the dish. I wanted to give some rice to my baby, but there was none. When I mentioned this, the staff offered to add rice and egg, but I was charged an additional $9.50 for these items..This photo taken before and I didn't take any rice from it. Also you can check other people's share photo the portion is very small bearly you can find the rice. If people spending good amount of money should provide decent amount food, so people feel happy and want to come back, not like that, so never want to come back again

Best Thai food we have had in a very very long time!! Delicious! Allergen friendly! They even rang prior to ensure the entire order did not require the requested allergy ingredient left out. The lamb shank curry was perfect. The lamb was so soft and the flavour of the sauce was perfect! The yellow curry was very tasty! Perfect spice level for us, the fried rice was a bit small but hey the rest of the meal was so good it made up for a the small serve of rice.. we also had the money bags which were probably the best ones my husband had had. Definitely recommend this place. We also had take out/delivery so I can only assume it would be even better when dining in. Will definitely be using this place as our regular Thai restaurant...
