Bobi Boba | Bingsu & Bubble tea — Restaurant in Hobart

I came in yesterday and got a mango bubble tea, there was lucky to be 10 pearls in the bottom. Went back in today and specifically asked the guy to fill half the smaller cup with pearls. He looked at me oddly and I reiterated my order, showing him with my fingers the level of pearls I wanted. He charged me $7.80 and then proceeded to put half a scoop in the bottom. I told him that this is not what I had ordered and explained once again. He made me feel like I was an idiot for requesting such an order after he realised what I was actually asking for. He said oh OK I'm going to have to charge extra, so charged me an extra $3.80. I normally order from a place in town and they never have any issue understanding my order and certainly don't charge such a ridiculous price for a few extra pearls. I understood I would pay extra but keep in mind that I received far less tea due to the pearls so I was trading one for the other. I find the extra charge of $3.80 to be exorbitant. Almost $12 for such a small drink is highway Robbery. I was very clear and concise as to what I wanted. The misunderstanding was his and his alone. I won't be back. Edit: I went to Machi Machi today. Ordered the same drink with the extra pearls, except a large unlike the small I purchased from you and I paid $10.50. Plus they had no issue understanding my order nor did they make me feel silly for customising my order. I know where I will be...

The staff here go above and beyond to ensure that your order is made properly, and you always get the cutest notes to thank you and let you know about any updates.
