Went in on father's day, the service was terrible. Was a young girl working she had just finished serving people when we walked in then disappeared out the back for a good 5 minutes, no be back in a minute, just walked out! With the ice cream she just scooped out the ice cream, plopped the toppings in and whacked it in the tub without even mixing it in. My kids were very disappointed, as last time we has a wonderful gentleman who gave us great service and really mixed the toppings in well. This father's day service was severely lacking! The scoops weren't cleaned between each scoop and one that got sorbet had other ice creams mixed in with it, like big chucks. My kids said they don't want to go back if that girl is working. Coming from Adelaide where there is no cold rock, this was a very disappointing experience after trying for the first time. The ice cream tasted good other than the fact that it was way overfilled and it was dripping all over me. However, the service was absolutely terrible to myself, my sister and my mum. Both the girls were judgemental and rude and cold all because we were excited to try the ice cream. I asked them about something that was on their menu and they looked like they had no idea what i was talking about even though it was on the board behind them. Really disappointing. I have been a lover of Cold Rock for a special treat for years! However my latest time has called for me to leave a review. It was a super hot day, in the school holidays (so I would think a busy period?) and there was only one girl working! I felt so sorry for her. She was not getting a break at all. The line was huge and she was clearly working hard to get through it but people were actually walking in, turning around and leaving. It was so hot in the shop also. And it REALLY needs a clean.
