My partner and I recently dined at a sushi train in Launceston and were impressed by both the quality of the food and the overall experience.

For around $80 for 2 people, we enjoyed a variety of fresh, flavorful sushi and sashimi, expertly prepared and served on the moving train. The pay-per-plate system made it easy to sample a wide selection, and the plates were reasonably priced, offering great value for the quality.

In addition to the rotating sushi, the venue also provided a menu with options for extra items at an additional cost. This allowed us to customize our meal with special dishes that weren’t on the train, which added to the overall experience.

The atmosphere was casual yet welcoming, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The sushi train concept allowed us to enjoy our meal at our own pace, making for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. Overall, it was excellent value for money, and we would highly recommend it to anyone seeking fresh and delicious sushi...

As a lover of food and a Chef I never really write reviews as I understand that working in a kitchen can be hard but I feel this one is well deserved. I come here when they opened a while ago and the food was amazing but today I made the choice to never return as both me and my partner where both very disappointed, both dishes we order where plain and over cooked to a point where I ate my karrage chicken curry just because I was paying for it. Over cook chicken same with the beef my partner got. And just to top it all off they have an opened kitchen, that is absolutely amazing but the last thing you want to see if someone eating in the kitchen and also most of them on they're phones. (And didn't wash their hands before touching food!) Good luck eating here guys. Disgusting...

Trust me when I say, as a food photogroaher and restaurant marketer, I am the last person to ever slam a business online, but this place served me off wagyu, admitted it was off, and acknowledged the other wagyu was also off on the train and didn’t remove it. I made several attempts to remind them. They told me it was just opened and a supplier issue. Idk. I walked out and had a light vom after a $75 bill for two adults and 1 child = fair price hadn’t I been served off food x 3 with a refund for the one I presented. The other items weren’t fresh, but were acceptable for a training guess. Slim pickings for sushi in this location is the reason they’re busy,...

Walked in saturday afternoon. We sat at the booth, couldnt see the price of the sushi plates anywhere, i oedered of the ipad, i orded king fish sashimi, i love hing fish normally however this had a strong taste. And the sizes where tinny way over priced! Every plate was around 4.50 i noticed alot the the ones with expensive ingredients like cream cheese there wasnt much in the sushi roll. Ill give this another try during the week and see if the Quality is different.

Apparently they have changed their rules now and don’t send soy sauce with your order anymore. What you get for free at the front counter at the shop now has to be paid when ordering on uber eats. How did I find out? Because they bothered to write me a note about it and then proceeded to not send any. Note the “loyal customer” observation on my receipt. No wonder why their rating keeps on going down.
