I would leave zero stars if I could. ... DO NOT EAT HERE. Went there with my friends for dinner on Saturday night. We all are vegetarian and we ordered vegetarian curries. So, we ordered Panneer kadhai, veg biryani and palak(spinach) paneer. They served us  beef spinach and we all tasted that curry by mistake and then we realized. when we complained them about  beef curry.  They were continuously laughing at us. Not a single apology. Is it a joke?  Its against our religion. You guys are running a restaurant and behaving like this ? The service was disaster. You will wait, and wait, and wait, at every step of the process. Again, the food is not worth waiting for – not even 5 minutes. The waitresses and waiter were horrible. Not sure why there is so much love for the place.

Xmas 2017 - What a great way to begin our Tasmanian holiday... spectacular meal & great service. Every dish was a hit. If I got Beef Vindaloo like that every time I ordered it, I'd be extremely happy - absolutely delish and the perfect amount of heat! If we lived in Launceston, this place would be our local... Yum! Oct. 2019 (4th/5th) Visit - Celebrated my recent 50th b'day in tassie - specifically so we could visit this place again... we were not disappointed - just as good as our last visit (above) The food is (still) exceptional (both nights) - I cannot recommend this place more highly. To yourself a FLAVOUR !

What a find. I couldn’t fault this restaurant. I advise you book a table as we did. Left a message and had a response within minutes. The staff are super friendly and efficient. The food arrived very promptly and was delicious. Some of the best Indian food I’ve had. I sometimes find I over order at Indian restaurants, but the waiter advised us we didn’t need as much as we intended to order. I was very impressed. We had the mango lassi with our meal which was perfect. It’s also very reasonably priced. Thank you for such a lovely meal.

I typically refrain from providing negative feedback, but I feel compelled to share my recent experience.

If there were a 0-star option, I'd choose it. Last night, I had my farewell dinner at this place and ordered biryani with prawns, explicitly requesting a non-spicy preparation. We waited for an hour and the food arrived with excessively spicy rice. Upon expressing my dissatisfaction, the waiter consulted the chef and returned, asserting that it was the mild flavor. This left me perplexed, as I had specifically ordered a non-spicy biryani but received something mildly spicy. Despite their claim of mild spiciness, it was undeniably not. I felt bad about inconveniencing the waiter, who had no control over the food, and considering the New Year understaffing, I just sucked it up and took a few bites.

Upon returning home, my throat started burning and hurting intensely, progressing to the point where even my saliva became spicy, and I couldn't alleviate the discomfort. The pain persisted, akin to a sore throat. This was an unprecedented experience for me, and my friends also felt ill after their meals. I’m very concerned about their food hygiene practices, I'm currently at the airport feeling unwell and intend to seek medical attention upon reaching my destination. Even after over 10 hours, my throat continues to hurt significantly, my body shakes involuntarily and I feel very sick. I might seek legal advice depending on the result after visiting the hospital. If you wish to avoid food poisoning, I strongly advise against...

I had a wonderful experience dining here and would happily recommend it to others. From the moment I walked in, the customer service stood out – the staff were lovely, attentive, and made me feel very welcome.

To start, I couldn’t resist ordering a mango lassi, which has always been a personal favourite of mine. It didn’t disappoint – creamy, refreshing, and perfectly balanced in flavour, it set the tone for the rest of the meal.

The food was the real highlight. The onion bhaji was amazing – crisp, golden, and full of flavour. The vegetable samosa was equally delicious, with a beautifully spiced filling wrapped in light, flaky pastry. The cheese balls were enjoyable too, though compared to the other dishes they were good but not quite as memorable.

For the main, the butter chicken was a standout. Rich, creamy, and full of depth, it paired wonderfully with the rice and naan. Each bite hit the palate in just the right way, offering the perfect combination of textures and flavours.

The atmosphere added so much to the experience. The restaurant has a pleasant, authentic Indian aesthetic, and during lunch it was calm and peaceful, making it a lovely place to enjoy a relaxed meal.

All in all, between the excellent service, delicious food, and inviting atmosphere, this is a spot worth visiting. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying and memorable Indian...

I just had the worst restaurant experience in the past 3 years with this one. We ordered an entrée which was tasty and got our hopes up, but in a few minutes the entire experience was a down hill journey for us. After finishing the entrée, we asked for a fresh spoon and were told that they cannot get us a fresh spoon since the hotel was too busy (4/10 tables were being served at this time) and if we insist she will have to wash it for us. We were still okay with the restaurant for this weird comment but then we were served a roti bread with pieces of clay from the clay-oven cooked with it.The worst thing was I ate a small piece of the clay. The main dish was okayish but we never got the chance to finish our dinner because of unhygienic food. The restaurant staff offered us a full refund at the end, but the damage was already done when they argued with us on the way out. We were repeatedly told that the restaurant was too busy but this is a 8 year old restaurant and I understand 8 years is a very long time to get enough cutlery for the guest and to maintain a basic hygiene while serving the food. I wanted to give this restaurant ZERO STAR rating but I don't think Google reviews will allow it. This is definitely a no go for me. In short, stay away from this restaurant if you want a healthy tummy. There are plenty of...
