Edit: 33 minutes for brunch is definitely not standard but if we are doing minute crunching then yes it wasn’t 45 minutes. Maybe let people know beforehand because this is definitely not industry standards time.
Don’t come here if you are in a rush - waited at least 45 minutes for the BLAT (sandwich) and the Turkish eggs after placing the order. Anywhere else in Australia you would have customers walking out the door for a brunch meal. Their reasoning was there was a gluten free order which required cleaning. I’m not sure why they don’t have a separate set of utensils, or acknowledge that they don’t have the capacity to cater for it without destroying their flow.
Table next to us had a shakshuka that was forgotten and they looked like they waited 40+ minutes as well.
Food wasn’t spectacular, acceptable food and average coffee. Very disappointing experience particularly with a Sunday surcharge slapped on top. Unsure what the...
Read moreTinka Coffee Brewers is an absolute gem in Launceston! I can’t say enough good things about this place. The service was top-notch, and the staff, especially the friendly girls, made us feel right at home.
But let’s talk about the coffee – it was nothing short of sensational! I’m a coffee lover, and I was blown away by the rich flavors and perfect brew every time we visited. In fact, we couldn’t resist going back three times in just four days.
And it’s not just about the coffee – their meals were a whole new level of deliciousness. The quality and presentation were outstanding. Each dish felt like a work of art on a plate.
If you’re in Launceston, Tinka Coffee Brewers is a must-visit. Highly recommended! Kudos to this place for making our trip memorable with their fantastic food and coffee. Huge wraps to the entire team! The easiest 5 stars I’ve...
Read moreSo disappointed 😞. Tinka is a regular cafe for us, we often come for coffee, breakfast, or takeaway coffee. This morning we came in for a coffee with our newborn baby for some respite from the torrential rain but were informed we couldn't sit at a table (despite only two tables being occupied) because they were only being offered to those ordering food. One of the owners of the cafe was sitting there during this exchange and had nothing to say, despite us being drenched (including our baby) and regulars. They could easily have served our coffees without compromising any income. The complete lack of warmth and friendly customer service means that we will not be back and will find a new...
