I didn’t check any review before I got food here. I was waiting for my connecting flight. I was hungry and tired after experienced a hard incident. All I wanted to do is eat, relax and spend nice time. I waited in the line until 5 to 10 minutes. Normal. Then, I spent 34$AUD ordering a smashed avocado, feta, spinach and poached eggs (2) and a large chai latte. I have to recognise the plating was good, but at the moment I tasted it was so bad. To start, one of the eggs was out of shape ruining the presentation. They tasted like pure vinegar. Disgusting. I studied in a culinary school in Peru, and I know poached eggs shouldn’t have to taste acid like vinegar. You have to add a bit of vinegar but not half of the bottle… Second, the avocado was brown, I let the wait The avocado had dark (brown) hues and tasted sour. I politely pointed this out to a server. He gave me a new, small plate of just smashed avocado. I thought they recognized their mistake and were willing to fix it, but I was wrong. I looked at the avocado and tasted it. Some parts were dark and tasted sour. I wondered if they had added vinegar or lemon. Resigned, I had to separate the normal, good parts from the spoiled, dark ones. This time, I found slightly more good avocado than spoiled. Third, one of the slices of sourdough bread was burnt (part of it). The difference between burnt and toasted is different. Fourth, the spinach should serve only the leaves ; you have to make things easy for the customer so they can eat properly. The only good things were the Chai Latte, the proper water service, the friendly service, and the calm atmosphere. Overall, the worst meal I've ever had in my life. I'm truly shocked that these things happen and are accepted in Australia. They're strict and have high standards, but they serve food that can cause stomach upset or food poisoning. If they were in my country, the cook and/or plater would be fired or yelled at. These types of cafes, restaurants, and businesses should be shut down. I don't recommend it. It's not worth it. If you pay by card, they charge a 1.4% commission, and it's still not worth it. It's not worth the money or time. Find somewhere else to...

Had a 7am flight to Bali, the cafe had just the display fridge food available as the kitchen was closed at 4am. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant, which the croissant was fine but the wrap came out cold still even after being heated in the air fryer. Asked for it to be heated up again and they were more than happy to, when I got it back I took a bite and it was very hot then near the end the egg and bacon were cold as if it had just come out of the fridge. 30mins later people were getting served hot Brekky from the kitchen, which if they had just said it’ll take 30mins until the kitchen opened then I would have waited to order a nice hot Brekky. It was poor food quality, the customer service to let us know about the kitchen was below average. I suspect they were just trying to get rid of the overnight fridge stock until they got some fresh food when the kitchen opened. For an international airport cafe, I was very disappointed as it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at any cafe in Melbourne. I recommend asking when the kitchen opens and maybe microwaving the food before putting it in the air fryer as it doesn’t heat the food sufficiently, plus cold egg and bacon is sometimes not good for the stomach. I hope they take the feedback and the next person may not have to experience what we...

There was two people on the counter taking orders, so my friend approached one of them who wasn't doing anything and the lady told my friend to line up on the another counter which my friend also did so. However as soon as my friend went into the line for another counter, three white guys that came after us approached the lady who just talked to my friend and she took the order for them. Despite being upset, my friend still patiently waited until her turn and asked the lady why didn't u let me take the order a while ago. But then the lady kept on playing dumb and said I don’t know. We tried to talk to her about what happened and what made us angry, she still tryna play dumb. So I asked are you being racist? I asked so cuz we are all Asians, so I have no choice but to reasonably suspect that she was being racist given the fact that she let the whites ordered first without lining up. The manager came and things got even worse. He was in a aggressive attitude when talking to us and he said smth like so things already happened what can u do we couldn't change it. Now we know where the staff‘s attitude was coming from. It was from their manager who was being so useless and arrogant. Anyway don't come to this store, u might got food poisoning as being mentioned in...

Daniyeru's Detailed Review: Customer Service 5/5 *Really liked the way they addressed me, I was addressed by sir. It gives that nice professional touch with no pretentious vibes. Food 5/5 *Burger and Beer combo *Burger bun was extremely soft, hot and freshly made. Perfect. *Burger itself was really delicious, beef was a little tough, but it is no wagyu. Cheese was melted amazingly. Sauce was really nice too. *Chips that arrived was fried fresh, so hot your tongue might get burnt which is a great appreciation as it's very rare any chips are made fresh these days! Value 4/5 *Burger & Beer was $28. For airport price, it's quite reasonable and when it's made so fresh, it's absolutely worth it! Atmosphere 5 /5 *Cafe / Bar vibes casual relaxing restaurant with nice background BGM playing Overall *Definitely would recommend anyone coming here to stop by and enjoy a meal. They use St Ali Coffee which is speciality coffee, but I didn't drink as I have a late night flight.
