Their location is the best viewing spot for the travellers exit from one of the T2 International Arrivals doors towards T3 side. My main visit here was the window seat: avoiding catching a cold from using the public free seats to wait.
Hudson coffee used to be very creamy aroma with fresh coffee beans displayed under the casher when they just started their business at the Melbourne airport upstairs. (30 years ago?😆) Most of the airport staff ordered.
Unfortunately, the most locals, airport staff and travellers pass this bad reviewed Hudson store. This is why:

Medium washed roasted coffee beans. Coffee beans must be at least 3 months old after roasted massive coffee beans. It doesn't give any coffee smell, no aroma, blant after taste. Like American coffee in a pot for 3 hours. Or Instant normal long black for people who drink Italian coffee. It was no issues with the machine or barista's technique. However, the lady barista almost served me the normal strength coffee and remade my coffee. (It wasn't busy time so she realised my 3 shots order prior to serve. Thank you so much for this😉)

After 10 minutes, the order still hadn’t arrived, even though I noticed many customers who ordered after me had already received their food. I asked the staff, and the girl behind the counter told me my order wasn’t ready yet because there were many orders before mine. However, I had only seen one or two orders ahead of me, and those who received their food had clearly ordered after me.
I asked how much longer it would take as my airport pick-up was waiting and urging me to hurry. The staff member told me I could wait — or if I wanted it “fresh”. Excuse me? Is this a joke? I specifically ordered crispy chicken, not fresh, because I knew my son has a sensitive stomach and wouldn’t be able to eat cold food.
1–2 minutes later, she handed me the wrap — which was barely warm, with everything inside still cold. Even the cheese wasn’t melted. As a result, my son ended up with a stomach ache from this meal. I have kept a sample of the food and will be reporting this to the COUNCIL.
