Baguette is my absolute favourite spot to eat at after a long day at Uni. Their food is delicious, fresh and hot. Egg and bacon quiches are sublime, sausage rolls are rich and juicy, paninis are always tasty and yummy. I remember being in a rush one time and having to stuff the panini I ordered into my bag, as I had to catch a train. I pulled the panini out of my bag 20 minutes later and when I opened it up, it was steamy and hot. Their desserts are sensational, my favourites being the vanilla slice, cinnamon roll and passion fruit yogurt. I’m not too sure why there are so many complaints about the customer service here. I think the service is great. They are always so friendly to me, they make sure I receive my order and they even gently caution me not to touch the top of their display counter due to how hot it is. I had one lady behind the counter give me a discount. I hadn’t even asked for it, and I got money off! I rave everyday to my family about how amazing Baguette is. This place is second to none at Flinders Street. The only thing that isn’t ideal about them is probably the price, but at the same time their food is such high quality, that I don’t mind paying for it and for that reason, Baguette gets my praise. Thank you to the lovely ladies at Baguette who served me well...

If I could give a zero I would! Literally 20 minutes ago I ordered from here. Staff were rude and made me wait what seemed like forever to order food.. it was not even busy there were just standing around making rude comments about the customers I overheard her talking about the lady beside having super big eyebags.

Like what the hell is wrong with these people. I’d asked the waitress what was in the roll and bluntly gave me “beef” no add ons as to what the hell is inside. She was the curly head being super rude the entire time. No respect or nice approach to customers.

Walking away the food almost burnt my hands I was given no napkins or anything. The roll was even worst it tasted stale like it’s been sitting for days and just overall disgusting and gross. This store is not giving at all. They need to learn if there not suitable for the job or clearly not happy to find something there actually interested in. Will not...

I often get something from here before hopping on the train.

But giving 1 star because the staff are just not good at customer service. An Asian girl with short hair gave me a very judgemental look and then proceeded to ignore me. Another girl seeming of Indian appearance was also working but also ignored me and didn't point out where the queue was.

There are two payment terminals and two or more staff members but they are not operating efficiently. They could serve customers in parallel with two lines but today they were not. I have definitely been served at the payment terminal on the right hand side before but today they just ignored me.

I waited and waited but I was ignored.

Will never buy...

Located centrally inside Flinders Street Station, Baguette has a consistent flow of commuters coming and going. I've come here three times now and although the food is fresh, it's not as good as it could be. I genuinely think they are trying but in the haste of this place, the food is average. You can buy fruit salad, yoghurt, sweet treats, focaccias, muffins, pies and much more. There is also cold drinks and other refreshments. Prices are reasonable. Staff are okay but always rushed and have had a few grumpy experiences. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram and stroller accessible.

Hit and miss. Sometimes it's amazing. Sometimes it's very "meh" depending on who's on. Quick service. Great coffee when it's good. Good food too. from popular suppliers. Usually best first thing in the morning (0600) $5 "12Oz" coffees at time of writing, One of the few places left at that now I can pass over a $5 note for. They use Tyro so the obligatory surcharge and bad terminals you can't see the screens on.
