Asked about the number of pieces of spring roll and I didn't want it but the guy just keyed in and after there's a promotion going on that say everything goes better with wine and purchase of wine should be $10 dollars and I was charged $13. When I approached him he told me l have to mention to him when I place an order because that's the deal. But I told him he work here he should know what's the promotion going on and I don't have to tell him I'm going for the promotion that is actually ongoing. Pretty bad service and I was wondering why is it so bad expensive and only realise I was over charged after l ask for a receipt. I have never had a bad service in Melbourne for my whole 2 weeks trip and this is the worst experience I have before leaving here and it is actually here in the airport. Iâm also working in the food industry so I know how hard it is sometimes but honestly why are we given this kind of service paying 75$?
Even the Peking duck spring roll taste so awful. $16 dollars for mush whatever meat inside. Seriously đ€ą
Want coffee also no coffee, I just donât understand why is it I have to mention to Him and remind him Iâm getting the promotion of the $10 wine? This is very ridiculous. As he mentioned this is how it should be done here. Wow Iâm really pretty amazed.
Iâm sorry but I wonât come back here and I wont...

I should have known better when I saw the name "Baxa," which, I assume, is short for "Baxk to your gate hungry." But, being stuck at the airport with no other choices, I decided to give it a shot. How bad could it be? Spoiler alert: pretty bad.
I ordered the Singapore noodles because, well, what could go wrong with a classic, right? Little did I know, Baxa has a unique interpretation of "Singapore." Only thing Singapore is the prices without even a tax break. For a whopping $7 extra, I received two lonely prawns and what I can only describe as a whisper of chicken. Seriously, Iâve seen more meat on a toothpick.
The noodles themselves were about as exciting as an in-flight safety video. Bland, soggy, and somehow both overcooked and underwhelming. Iâm convinced they were seasoned with the tears of travelers who realized too late that they had no other dining options.
On the bright side, the cashier staff were friendly, probably because they know youâre about to experience the culinary equivalent of turbulence. So, if you enjoy paying airport prices for a meal that tastes like it was cooked in a layover, Baxa Noodles is the place for you!
Next time, I'll just eat my boarding passâit might be...
Read moreShocking service!! We asked if we could order the bao (3 pieces) and get all 3 different flavours but They said 'the kitchen is very strict' And wouldnt do it. So we ended up ordering 3 dishes. The first one came out within a couple min The second one came out a few minutes later. We ended up finishing those 2 and then waiting about 10min before we asked one of the wait staff if the other one was coming, she left to check but never came back. About 10min later (we had now waited 30min and our plane was starting to board) we decided to go up and cancel the order and when we did they told us, o its ready and gave it to us instead of the refund, so we had to rush them in our mouth and then get to our gate. Just to rub salt on the wound - while we waited we noticed one of the chefs just standing there watching the others. And some random not in uniform having a chat with one of the other chefs standing on his section. This just made the fact that we had to wait so long even more painful AND left us wondering why the kitchen is so strict on not mixing the bao flavours when they have time to stand around and do nothing or have a chat. If they were super busy and obviously stressed I wouldn't have minded but...
