Chook Bar — Restaurant in Melbourne

Chook Bar is one of my go-to spots. I walk in, order my chicken and chips, and it is always exactly what I want. The staff are nice and friendly which makes the whole experience easy and welcoming.

They have a good selection too, not just chicken and chips but a few other options, including a Sunday roast. Everything is fresh, cooked well, and tastes great every time. The prices are really good, especially considering the quality you get.

This Chook Bar is value for money. I have been getting a chicken avocado salad roll for years from this venue. There is no better option on Fitzroy street if you are looking for a quick and affordable delicious lunch. My only complaint is that on occasion an old couple works the shop and may not deliver as much love as Joe does when preparing the amazing chicken avocado roll. On rare occasion, the roll can have the slimy parts of the chicken unless prepared by Joe. Love...

Very tasty, generous serves, excellent value for money and a enough variety of take away staples that you could comfortably buy dinner here every night for a week. (I know this because I have done it at least twice). The chicken itself is of the highest quality and cooked to perfection.
