Although I usually find the staff to be lovely & friendly here, one lady in the donation room was incredibly rude to my friend who was bringing in some clothes after doing a wardrobe clear out. The lady implied the donations were an inconvenience although we had checked it was okay before bringing them in and she said passive aggressively that they “better be clean & sellable” after we handed her the bags. This was really offensive as care had been taken in what was brought into the store, and these were good high quality clothes. There was also a used sharps disposable box on the shelf which...

Such a great charity of good works. The volunteers work tirelessly. They ask you how you would prefer goods you donate to be used eg food, sold for fundraising efforts, or given direct to sufferers of poverty, neglect and abuse. I said however they see fit but I requested where possible food, etc be given direct to people enduring hardship of various kinds so they receive the full benefit and can help heal and they agreed to give direct to the destitute of inner Melbourne.
