It’s a strange thing to get excited about scrambled eggs on toast. But compared with the guff I usually get in Sydney, this was exceptional. Perfectly portioned, perfectly buttered… the coffees came WITHOUT sugar…

And it was all delivered in an understated, unassuming way; as though anything less is unthinkable.

2024 update: wow. In Sydney, ordering food to navigate around my lactose intolerance draws a lot of funny looks and the staff generally look at me with some annoyance and alarm. But here? Definitly a must go to cafe. Very hardly do I rate as high as 4 stars considering the stickler I am.

Anyway, the food was the best I have had in a long time, excellent presentation, no issues what so ever. They have a wide variety of Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner varieties to cater for your dietary needs.

Additionally, the staff were wonderful, respectful tone and had an appropriate presentation. Only suggestion would be to serve with a smile on your face, besides that, absolutely perfect.

Finally, the atmosphere, the cafe retains a modern, sleek and retentious design. Definitly fit for the modernising Melbourne.
