We recently visited and we were absolutely blown away by our experience. From start to finish, everything was perfect, and we left feeling extremely satisfied.

First and foremost, the food was outstanding. The fish was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and incredibly flavorful. The batter was light and crispy, just how it should be. The chips were cooked to perfection - hot, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside will ask for more chicken salt!😋🤤 . We could tell that the oil used was clean and fresh, as there was no greasy aftertaste whatsoever. We also appreciated the generous portion size, as it left us feeling completely satisfied.

The service was also top-notch. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their job. They greeted us with a smile and made sure we were comfortable throughout our meal. Our order was taken quickly, and the food arrived promptly. The servers also checked on us regularly, ensuring that we had everything we needed and took our photo☺️

The overall atmosphere of the shop was inviting and clean. The interior was well-maintained, and the seating area was comfortable. The shop had a pleasant aroma, making us even more excited to dig into our meal.

Lastly, we found the prices to be reasonable, considering the quality and portion size of the food. We felt like we received great value for our money.

5 Stars – A Wonderful Lunch! My wife and I had lunch at Ocean Boat Fish n Chips at HighPoint Shopping Centre (Melbourne) yesterday, and we loved it! As soon as we walked in, a friendly lady at the front welcomed us with a big smile, which made us feel really comfortable. The staff were great—super polite, helpful, and kind. You could tell they all worked well together and really cared about making customers happy. We ordered the couple’s meal, and it was delicious! Everything was fresh, looked great, and tasted amazing. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients. Big thanks to Chef John—he’s not only great at cooking but also a really nice person. Just finished eating dinner here for the first time and we’re absolutely blown away. I ordered the grilled blue grenadier, chips and coleslaw and my husband had the grilled barramundi, chips and garden salad. We also tried the calamari (hot and perfectly cooked, not rubbery at all) and dim sims (hot and perfectly cooked). We were so impressed that we didn’t even take any pictures! Trust me, the fish is fresh and perfectly grilled with a lovely seasoning. The chips were crispy and not oily and the coleslaw and salad were delicious and fresh.
