Extremely disappointing night on Saturday with what should have been a few fun, casual drinks and nibbles with work colleagues.

We approached the venue from the taxi rank side, were welcomed by a sign stating we'd check in and take a seat. Which we did on a table that hadn't been reserved. (Well at least the previous booking had an old reservation from about an hour before still on it)

A colleague made his way to the bar, where bar staff were great! Bought a round and returned to our table. I order some food from the online menu using the table's QR code and so does another colleague.

A wait staff member comes up to the table some minutes later, doesn't utter a word, picks up the reservation board and scribbles "x3 9:30" on the board. it was approx 9:20pm at the time of this incident. Slams the board down, turns around and walked away.

Confused at the interaction we looked puzzled at one another. A colleague wiped off the marker. Perhaps a mistake on our behalf as two wrongs don't make a right, but still terrible customer service as a first impression.

The next interaction had the same wait staff turn up with the customers who the reservation had belonged to and simply said to us "THEY'RE HERE". "What do you mean, 'they're here'" I asked. "YOU NEED TO LEAVE NOW" I was told. "But we're waiting for an order. This is bizarre, how can you move on paying customers". The wait staff mocks me using a silly voice "THIS IS BIZAAAAARE" she says. I tell her that's inappropriate. She states there is a line "out front" and points in the river direction.

Apparently we should not have taken this table. I state that if that's the case then they shouldn't have a sign at an entry point that welcomes you to take a seat.

The wait staff starts clearing our food. NOT ON! I take it off her and finish it. Stupidly, in the heat of the moment i also slam the cardboard food container on the table as per her slamming of the reservation board some minutes before. I spill dip on the table and walk out.

Puzzled and confused we stand outside waiting to see what happens next. are we getting a refund? what about our outstanding food and drink items?

The wait staff comes out and exclaims "I'M THE MANAGER AND THE BOSS AND YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE EVER AGAIN. I'M CALLING THE POLICE"

At this point there is no reasoning with this person. I leave. My colleagues hang around expecting their money back but decide we're never getting through to anyone when the police finally arrive. This isn't worth it for the sake of maybe $50 of outstanding food/drink items.

I didn't know if I'd write this, as stated above, we made some poor choices. But this was completely provoked by some terrible customer service skills and zero communication. We regularly frequent this business and will be taking our money elsewhere from now on. This company has stolen from us and has not supplied the goods and services. Instead we were treated like criminals and police were called.

At this point in time, I don't even want a refund. All I ask is that you make sure you remove welcome signs at your entry points as you did not make these customers feel...

Nestled along the Yarra River, this bar exudes elegance and sophistication in every aspect of its design. From the moment you enter, the captivating view of the river and its surroundings will leave you in awe, setting the tone for a memorable experience.

The tasteful decor and ambient lighting create a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for sipping a finely crafted cocktail while taking in the stunning view. The bar's attention to detail is evident in every drink and dish, each exquisitely presented and bursting with flavor.

The impeccable service is a testament to the staff's dedication to excellence. Every guest is treated with the utmost care and attention, ensuring a flawless and enjoyable experience.

As the sun sets over the Yarra River, the bar transforms into a magical haven, the perfect setting for an intimate evening with friends or loved ones. Whether you're seeking a sophisticated night out or a special occasion, this bar is the perfect destination.

I must also give special recognition to the manager of this exceptional bar, Courtney. From the moment we arrived, Courtney's warm and gracious welcome made us feel right at home. Her attention to detail and commitment to ensuring that every guest has a wonderful experience was truly impressive.

Courtney's knowledge of the menu and cocktail list was extensive, and her recommendations were spot-on. She went above and beyond to ensure that our every need was met and that we felt truly cared for throughout the evening.

It is clear that Courtney's leadership and dedication to excellence has created a culture of hospitality and warmth that permeates throughout the entire staff. It is thanks to her that we were able to enjoy such an unforgettable experience at this beautiful bar overlooking the Yarra River.

In short, if you are looking for an exceptional bar experience with unparalleled service and a stunning view, look no further than this establishment, and be sure to ask for Courtney - her expertise and warm hospitality will undoubtedly enhance...

Been here before and loved it but that was pre-covid experience. Had a lunch with two of my friends yesterday. They have contactless menu and basic arrangement for covid. The food was delicious and cocktails were perfectly balanced. My booking was until 2.30pm and at 1.40 the waitress/receptionist (Janin/Janet dont recall her name) asks us that we can only stay till 2.15pm. So we said we have booking till 2.30 and we have placed an order for the second round of drinks as well as food which was taking a while to come. Then the food came at 2.20ish (mind you she waited until the food was served) and she asked us to leave by 2.30. We left our drinks half way and ate the food really fast just because she was asking us to live and wouldn't budge! In my opinion thats the worst way of hospitality, to not be able to eat/drink because their service took long time and then force us to leave. So take my money and dont let me have my order -GREAT! Please take a look at the insides of the bar below it was empty she could have asked us if we are okay to move in as the table we booked was not avaiblable. Or asked the other group to start ordering inside as we would have taken maybe more 10-15mins? She didnt even try! Never going back again. And there are many options beside this place with exact same views so...
