KFC St Kilda — Restaurant in Melbourne

I would very much like a response as to why KFC have chosen this type of restaurant at this location. Why is it a pop-up type in a busy area? I ordered tonight at 7:21pm - order called at 7:50pm to inform me that they had no tenders left and also no sauce that I chose. I felt for the two staff who were manning the orders. They were putting up with people yelling who had been waiting for over 30 mins. My order was complete at 7:54pm with 2 substitutes. The Deliveroo drivers coming in in heavy jackets, large bags and helmets and pushing through the other people waiting to see if their collection was ready made it very uncomfortable for everyone else who had been waiting. KFC - you have stats of the waiting times, you have ample cctv in store. You need more staff, more stock and a faster turnaround for patrons in store waiting over 20 minutes. So after some 27 years KFC has returned back to St Kilda! The original KFC store used to be where ANZ bank is now from 1994 to 1995 (maybe 96?!!) and unlike then it's a smaller operation this time around. There are times when it can fast or slow via their delivery of food stuff, it depends on staff which seems no less than 2 to 3 members. It's probably the smallest operation I've ever seen and for what it does, it works..It was the magnitude of many of the so called residents and businesses rebuff but what do they know as they're useless and the strip is hopeless. It's a welcome change to see them back to me personally even though I can't really eat it that much. So support them to keep them around just to piss off the locals (yes I'm a local of 39 years myself) so they'll move out and shut up shop. Neat little franchise but the lack of a toilet kinda hurts it but they may hopefully move to a better building at the expense of a local store?! 1995 to 2018 was a hell of a long time to get...

This is the best tasting KFC I’ve ever had! How come the others can’t make it like these guys? It’s fresh, crispy, tasty and not greasy. I don’t go to any other KFC because I’ve had bad experiences at the other ones. The girls at the front are always so efficient and friendly. They’re also really cute and all have beautiful eyes. I love it when people can be both attractive and good at their job. It’s like a pleasure all around. They were really friendly to this homeless guy who came in, too. No condescension and kind. I like it when workers don’t get all uppity with power, or pretend they’re better, but just focus on doing a good job no matter what. It’s not just about the money, it’s about bringing something to the table in this world, and if that is a friendly face, a well cooked burger and a smile then that makes life a little bit better for us all.
