This place is absolutely amazing. The staff are wonderful, just genuinely great people who make you feel at home the second you walk in. It is the kind of service you do not see very often anymore. I can walk in and not even need a menu because they already know what we want and have it ready for us before we ask. That sort of personal touch really makes a difference and is a big part of why we keep coming back.

The atmosphere at Lucien Bar is perfect for both a relaxed drink and a proper night out. It has that balance of being classy without feeling pretentious, and there is always a really good vibe in the room. It is the type of place you can sit and lose track of time in because it is just so easy to enjoy yourself.

The wine selection is top notch, with plenty of options that suit all tastes. You can tell they have put thought into curating their list rather than just stocking the basics. The food is also excellent, consistently fresh and full of flavour. Everything we have tried has been spot on, and it pairs perfectly with the drinks.

Another great thing is that Lucien Bar has a sister venue just down the road, Bistro Voliere, which is every bit as good. It carries the same sense of care and quality and gives you another option depending on the night you are after. Both venues complement each other perfectly and show the effort that goes into creating these kinds of spaces.

I’ve noticed some very harsh reviews online, and honestly, they don’t reflect my experiences at all. It feels unfair, especially for a new venue that’s clearly putting in the effort to offer great food, drinks, and service. Negative reviews can really hurt small businesses, and in this case, I think they’re undeserved. Lucien Bar deserves recognition for creating such a welcoming spot with great food, drinks, and service.

We recently had a combined baby shower and birthday at Lucien, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The space was the perfect size for our group of 50! It was comfortable, spacious, and beautifully set up. The staff were truly amazing! Everyone was so friendly, professional, and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The service was exceptional thanks to Nico and the team. The food was another highlight, which included cheese platters, sliders quiches focaccia and mini gourmet pies, were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented.
