Mathy Food Corner — Restaurant in Melbourne

Food was rubbish and stale, the white rice was very grainy and cold although it was taken from a rice cooker, the ladies finger so soaked up with so much masala, prices are way too high for a box of sweet for 15 dollars that is just soaked up in oil, the lady at the counter said it was 9 dollars but charged us 15 dollars. The murukoos were hard, the parartas were burnt. I wanted the dhal separate and she charged me 3 dollars extra although its part of the meal which is one non vegetarian and 3 vegetables. The staff are way too proud to hear of their bad quality of food. I spoke to a lady to give her the feedback and she made a guy to call me and tell me that their food is the best and that they are not worried about the feedback on FB. When we run a business we should hear and rectify the customers feedback instead of saying that their food is the best and they have not received any complaints so far. If you go to their page you will then see how good their food is. I've eaten Srilankan food for years so I know of their spice effect but this was not it and people should try other truthful restaurants instead. Very Disappointed of their service.. we placed an order for a special occasion and on the day of the event they gave us a different variety,, the receptionist named Kiran was very RUDE, she raised her voice at the customer and didn’t admit her mistakes and also the manager was not ready to apologize and when we call them he just hung up the phone call.
