It's a small minimal cafe with a variety of pastries, savoury dishes and beverages. I walked by and decided to try their toasted halloumi bagel. The staff are lovely and were organised during the rush of customers. I was able to order and grab a seat, it didn't take long for my order to come to my table. It was absolutely the best bagel I have ever had in my entire life and I really do mean that 😭🙏🏼 - 10/10 it's been 7 hours and I'm still thinking about it. It was so fulfilling and delicious! It had halloumi, tomato slices, lettuce, avocado (didn't know it was in there, lovely surprise! there was a good amount too) and cucumber slices. I don't like tomatoes slices and if you don't you'll probably want it removed but I'll suggest you leave it in for this one because it tastes good. A cafe I'll definitely make a stop at next time I'm in the city, I recommend the place and their halloumi bagel to everyone else. P.S. the prices weren't as high as I thought it would be, as a student you usually expect the usual city prices to leave a dent to your wallet but it was affordable so that's also an added bonus.

I purchased a slice of "energy loaf" for A$5.50 this morning and was given a piece at the back of the counter, which is much smaller than those displayed at the front. Not sure if the staff has done so on purpose. The thickness is not even, and one side of the slice is much thinner. For the upmarket price, there should be better quality control regarding the size of each serve.

Slightly better-than-average coffee and decent food, with nice background music and a comfortable booth. Service is average, not especially friendly, but not unfriendly either.

Companies like these should not be around. I got charged $5.50 for a small almond croissant with a shelf/display price of $4.80. After paying with my card (so including bank charges), I realised that I had been robbed. I brought this to their attention. But all they could say is that the display price is wrong. I had made my decision, probably like 98% of cases, based on the price. So I told them I was not taking the product. The lady explained without a single care about customers that it's all management's fault. I understood that mistakes can happen but the total lack of empathy and care of the people there really left me in shock. So I was reimbursed without the bank charges obviously.. always make a profit huh? The least they could have done is give an apology and honor the price. Own your mistakes! Had you done those simple little act of care and kindness, I would have come back. But it is clear you don't care about your customers. Maybe because you have too many customers. It's a shame I can't give...

Bad coffee. Very disappointed! I came here because the reviews suggested quality coffee. I ordered a regular latte, perhaps the most basic coffee. Not sure what I received but it was over extracted and bitter. It had chocolate on top and the cup clearly had latte written on it. I chucked it in the bin in disgust before I thought to take it back and ask the barista to take a sip. So much quality coffee in Melbourne, go somewhere...
