Banh mi was alright, do quite like the variation in tiger bread but it meant the banh mi was a bit more chewy then that crunchy style. You do get to pick which bread you want but I went with the most popular option. The crispy pork banh mi after card surcharge was about $14. The meat inside the banh mi was pretty good till I got to the crispy pork part, the crunchy part was kind of soggy on my serving making it quite rubbery but the meat itself was seasoned and packed with flavour. So I've been lucky enough to have quite a few meals sold here. Their meat pies are bloody brilliant. Actual chunks of meat, or if you have the meat and mushroom, juicy cooked mushroom and the same chunky meat. And the pies are full. No removing the pastry top to discover the case is half empty, the pie and gravy filling goes all the way to the top. The pies are $5.50 I think, but worth every penny. New menu looks great! We've come back on multiple occasions now. Tasty authentic Vietnamese pho broth that is balanced with traditional spices and umami flavours. I really like that they don't use MSG either! The crispy pork belly has a mega crunch that sounds like music to my ears. We also tried their house drinks: Vietnamese Iced Coffee and Jasmine Iced Tea.
