I come get pizza from pizze societe at least once a week. I'm not an expert in pizza or food but just a local docklands resident. Melbourne offers big range of pizza from cheap to very expensive and something value for money and etc. if you wish to take your first date and served with glass of red wine and etc. pizze societe isn't a place for you but who does take their first dates to pizza joint anyway. I have tried many take away pizza joints from south melb, CBD, St Kilda etc etc. in past 10 years I've been eating pizza, pizze societe is the only joint I'd keep coming back. Although I live 1 min drive away from pizze societe but regardless of the distance or in case I'd move away from docklands I'd be more than happy to drive 10 mins to have pizza from pizze societe. I have tried 3,4 different types so far and looking forward trying more...
Read moreI recently had a very disappointing experience with this restaurant that I feel compelled to share. While the food was acceptable, the behavior of the staff towards delivery drivers was appalling. One driver was berated for arriving "late," even though it was clear that the restaurant was running behind schedule. Another driver was rudely told to "wait outside" in inclement weather, despite there being ample space indoors. The lack of basic courtesy and respect shown to these individuals was shocking.
It’s disheartening to see a business treat people so poorly, especially those who are essential in getting their food to customers. This kind of behavior is...
Read moreLong wait for food (approx 25 mins). When we tried to kindly ask a man working there how much longer our food would take, one of the female staff said under her breath 'it's coming relax' very rudely whilst walking away from us. One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.
Also this place is most likely not a vegan friendly eatery. When asked if they had any vegan options on their menu, a female staff and a male staff near the cashier could be seen smirking and laughing. I'm not 100% sure if asking for vegan options was what brought this out or if they were laughing at something else but if it was for this reason then it's a real shame. Discrimination and small mindedness at its finest. Will avoid this place...
