For those seeking a modern Thai dining experience in Brunswick, Rin Sura is a beacon of modern culinary excellence. This chic eatery not only impresses with its vibrant ambiance but also with exceptionally attentive and speedy service that enhances the overall dining adventure. Our taste journey began with prawn dumplings that were nothing short of divine. Each dumpling was a pocket of well-seasoned delight, boasting a perfect balance of texture and flavor that set a delightful tone for the meal. Breaking away from tradition, the pumpkin arancini paired with Tom Yum mayo provided a refreshing Thai twist to the classic Italian dish. The crispy exterior gave way to a succulent and flavorful core, making this a standout platter that left us yearning for more. Taking us further into the depths of Thai fusion, the Massaman meatballs were next on this culinary escapade. Each bite packed a rich umami punch, delivering sheer bliss that had us longing for the next morsel. These meatballs took the experience to another level, ensuring they would not be forgotten anytime soon. Next we ordered the frittata, and what was served was a textural masterpiece. Crunchy, flavor-rich, and encompassing an assortment of textures, it was a fitting end to our exploration of Rin Sura's appetizers. Concluding our meal on a high note, the pandan parfait, and all we can say is wow! While we didn’t delve into the mains, we focused on sampling a variety of starters to embrace the diversity Rin Sura has to offer. It is evident that each dish is crafted with precision and flair, promising an intriguing menu to revisit with anticipation of discovering more gems. For those in pursuit of a fresh perspective on Thai cuisine, Rin Sura is a must-visit. The innovative dishes coupled with excellent service make it a commendable choice for both casual diners and culinary adventurers alike. We highly recommend Rin Sura and look forward to returning to continue our flavorful journey.

We visited this restaurant for my partners brothers bday and got the feed me and it was ridiculously insane! I can’t even fit all the dishes in my grid post 😂 It was $55pp which is such good value for the amount of food we had but I felt it was even too much food and the flavours themselves could be more focused on to create an even better dining experience! 💖 Kingfish Hiramasa 4.5/5 🌱 Edamame with miso 5/5 🍤 Prawn Dumplings with caramel ginger soy 5/5 🌈 Beef Tartare 3/5 🥗 Papaya Salad 3/5 🥬 Vegetarian Spring Rolls 3/5 🔥 Fu*k Tong Arancini 4/5 💥 Duck Bao 4/5 (just a bit too many herbs) 🦑 Fried Squid 4.5/5 🤍 Roasted Miso Pumpkin 4.5/5 🐟 BBQ Salmon 3/5 💚 Wok Fried Chicken Cashew 5/5 AMAZING (my fave of the night) Ambience was nice. I found all the food quite good but there were only a few big standouts! The food volume was huge which was great but I felt like some of the flavours were just really similar and everything was very spicy! 🌶 I would have loved a few more neutral dishes to balance out the heat. Service was friendly but not outstanding! Overall 4/5 💖

Unfortunately this wasn’t a good experience for us apart from the maître de when we left. The kind fish was superb, fried squid, is a basic calamari, lamb Penang Curry again was very average. Now to the roti- how can you mess this up? It was pre made, dry and soggy at the same time, satay sauce was missing flavour. Drinks- cocktails either laced with mass amounts of sugar or heavy spirits, nothing in between and as expensive as a main meal. Wines - not much of a choice, the reining was ok, but the Chardonnay was a mistake from the 90s. The service was quite poor apart from the lovely member before mentioned, we had to go to the bar to order a drink as the wait staff forgot we were there after we’d ordered our meal. Obviously it works for Brunswick as it was full, but there are many places much much better than this one.

Couldn't help myself after seeing all these positive reviews. Service fantastic, although they were a little slow in collecting empty plates, which were a pain on the small tables. We agreed the quality of food to price ratio was justified. It is expensive for thai food in Brunswick, however you get what you pay for and every dish is thoughtful and tasty. The Tasmanian Salmon ceviche was a stand out... beautiful and delicate flavours... would go back just for this. The prawn dumplings also were fantastic....the caramelized sauce it was served in had great flavour. The satay chicken salad was ok... The green curry had great depth of flavour... a few more fresh herbs would have been nice... it was exaggerated with the amount of thick red chillies in the bowl... we picked out about 12.. very pricey for a curry though. The things we didn't like... mocktails at $10 in a small glass full of ice... not great value...tasty but not fair price. We waited about 15min before asking for a dessert menu... which it would have been nice to have the 3 desserts explained abit.. Or a description of the desserts... as what we ordered was essentially 4 scoops of sorbet with a tiny bit of banana and some milo cereal... which had we known... definately would not have ordered. The Milo Sunday... coconut sorbet had large ice crystals which was not pleasant. All in all good experience... lovely atmosphere ...but can set you back...
