Hi,
Went to schnitz highpoint at night (past dinner rush). Walked in and already noticed that they were mopping the floor and closing dine in—even though it was not 1 hour before close. From my past experience and from when i worked at schnitz. This is too early. Customers who come 1.5 hrs early before close are usually able to dine in, only when its 30mins-60mins before closing time do workers start close/locking up. The change in dine in time is ridiculous. I get that team leaders pick when they close sometimes but nearly 1.5hrs earlier? One worker said yes knowing I could dine in, while the other said no, I’m confused on why servers can pick when to close when they’ve only mopped the back, let alone pick when to close. Even if I wanted to start closing earlier my team leader/manager would not let me.
Now this wouldn’t be an issue since I used to work at Schnitz myself, i understand it’s a Sunday. Long day, yes. Yet I’m writing this because to add on how I was told to do takeaway—they also messed up my order. I went with my partner and ordered a wrap with an additional add on. Gave it a few bites and noticed it wasn’t in there. The wrap itself was wrapped ridiculously, why did i have to layer my bench with 10 tissues in order for the bottom of the wrap to NOT drench the table in oil. If the chicken is too long (usually the issue) cut the bottom and shove it somewhere else, instead of making the customer unwrap it and rewrap it and clean up an easy fix. Not only that but they used untoasted OR used toasted buns that were left in the toaster tray for a long time for our burger. These buns come uncut already, is it hard to re-toast buns? They’re not mini buns where you have to cut them yourselves. We spent $50 for missing parts/carelessness.
If the goal was to get out the door on time, then at least send customers out...
Read moreCame here to celebrate my friend’s birthday, food was delicious. Some staff provided good service EXCEPT for those 2 Asian workers. 1 that served me, she wears glasses and I asked her regarding a cake when she was going to bring it (I asked her nicely), but the way she answered looked as if she didn’t want to serve me? Or that she had better things to do? Another Asian worker (more on the slimmer side) when I asked if she can show me the takeaway box/takeaway bags for the cake to be placed in, she did respond to me timely, however her facial expressions gave the impression that she was fed up? No response when I thanked her, she just nodded her head, no smile, no nothing.
Please ladies, i don’t like to make a scene but to both of you - terrible service & do your job properly. If you can’t, then you shouldn’t work in hospitality or any workplace that deals w customers. Fix...
Read moreI have really struggled with this review. Especially grading the food. Two of the dishes I personally ate is making this review take ten times longer than any other. I’m trying to pick my words carefully to be as accurate as possible. In this case I’m referring to the loaded fries dish - chicken and gravy Taste was great, but it was lacking chicken. Similarly the Parma. It tasted great. But there was next to no chicken. Check attached photo. Is it customary to judge the dish on its merits … take it as it comes? Or should I judge it on what I paid for and expected?
Ok so to be fair, I will just be honest, I was honestly disappointed and felt a bit cheated. It’s chicken and gravy loaded fried… it’s chicken Parma… key words in both are chicken… not as a side but a feature of the dish. After spending $70 I...
