Sushi Sushi Highpoint — Restaurant in Melbourne

While walking past the store, I observed a Sushi Sushi level 3 employee using a yellow towel to wipe the top of the wooden rubbish bin. Immediately after, without changing the towel or sanitizing their hands, they used the same towel to wipe down the payment counter and the glass of the display cabinet on the inside of the kiosk.

This is very unhygienic and a clear breach of basic cleanliness standards. The rubbish bin area is a high contamination zone, and using the same towel on surfaces customers interact with especially where food is displayed is extremely concerning.

I hope this incident is addressed promptly and that staff are reminded of appropriate hygiene protocols to prevent potential health risks...

Firstly: AVOID if you want to enjoy your meal. After reading all the reports below, I wish I read the reviews before buying. Food poisoning aside (hope it's all exaggerated, or might be the competition). Into the review: ##fresh made today does not mean fresh ingredients!!##

Fish was not fresh. But don't think it has gone off.

Avoid this place if you want to enjoy your meal. Hint: McDonald's next door delivers consistent freash food (not the salad in the arvo though)

Staff: good-did their job and was mannered but a bit awkward.

Food: eh I’ve had better. There was still scales on my salmon fish roll. The seaweed wasn’t crunchy at all and was damp. The rice tasted okay but little bit over cooked.

Service: was fast and not too many people. I can understand why.

It wasn’t worth the price. I don’t recommend the rolls here. Maybe other dishes are better. The sushi sushi in CBDSushi Sushi...
